Little Johnnie hadn't spoken a word in all his six years of life, all tests were done and concluded with an unknown reason why he didn’t talk. Finally, one morning at breakfast he cried out, 'Mum, the toasts burnt!' His amazed mother hugged him joyfully and asked, 'Johnny, why haven't you spoken before?'
'Well,' he replied 'everything’s been all right up till now.'

We have two cats: 1 male, 1 female. The male, after about 4 months in his new home, started crying excessively from around 3am to 11am every night. He's around 5 years old.

We assumed this was because of the move and did our best to ignore it, giving him affection and playtime when he was being quiet.

3 years later, he's *still* doing it. Attempts to pet / play with him fail: not interested whatsoever. He will at times run from one end of the house to the other, sometimes sitting in the shower or tub, far away from where everyone else is, and cry at the wall. it's not near the door outside or a window.

there's moderate chasing of the female at times, but nothing severe that suggests he's having some territorial crisis. As often as he runs around, he's often quite calm, though i assume it's some sort of anxiety. he'll do this regardless of having full food and water and clean litter. when he does want affection, he'll get up on a lap, grab one of our hands and pull it to his face.

My son is a few days away from turning one. He's still taking formula (along with normal foods) but, because of the high cost of formula, I was wanting to switch him to milk. He's on soy-based formula now because of gas, so I'm assuming soy milk is what he'll get. Is this the right time? Any mothers have advice?
I will ask his dr. but his next appt isn't until late next week and I was wanting to start milk this week.
Thanks for your answers! :)

I haven't heard about anything about Hilary. I don't like her at all and I think that her stardom is over and it is time to move on. I think that she is really stuck-up. Do you think that her stardom is over?

TEACHER SACKED IN ALL-FAIL STORM
ROB MITCHELL’S thirty 16-year-old pupils were upset when they all failed their GCSE English exam at the Newton Magna Comprehensive School.
Local Education chiefs were even more surprised, and in a shock swoop yesterday, sacked Mitchell.
Bearded, leather-jacketed Mitchell(22), a member of Heysham Young Marxist League, was last night planning an appeal at the Young Street flat which he shares with youth leader Ted Harvey(27) and art student Nike Sontag (19).
‘The pupils both enjoyed and benefited from my lessons,’ he claimed,’ this is all a dreadful misunderstanding.’
One of Mitchell’s pupils, blonde, 16 year old Cheryl Sprockett said: ‘He was great. He didn’t shout at you like some of the other teachers. His lessons were fun.’
Mitchell’s lessons were chaotic, said a parent. ‘The children did as they liked.’
Damage to classrooms at the school is extensive.

War is wrong. The reasons to go to war in Iraq were wrong. That's a given. It seems they are sending people to die. The problem i feel is because Mr Bush & friends have took the country apart and left it in a vulnerable position, they feel it's wrong to leave everything in tatters with a civil war looming. What are your views?

Well, I really like watching "LOST" TV series. I find the characters super different from each other, each with his/her own mysteries, yet being able to be solid as one through teamwork. From time to time, I shift from one person to another as my idol. I'm finding for certain reasons why a specific character should be the best among the rest..haha..go, go, go, convince me and other "LOST" fanatics! ENjoy answering! : )

As I took the trash out last night, I noticed that there were various greeting cards that she had thrown out. Some from past holidays. Some from siblings. Also in that pile were a few from me (a couple from her birthday, valentines and some simply to say "I love you." My problem with this is she's held on to cards from previous lovers/boyfriends for years (to my knowledge, she still has them). Why throw out my tokens of affection? When I asked her about it, she said she needed "to get rid of some clutter." That's when I damn near exploded, but I kept my cool. What happened to the small things in a marriage? Moving forward, I sense that the cards are meaningless. With Valentines day around the corner, she'll see some flowers, but I don't see another card in her near future.
