It's a simple question, isn't it? We all know that amputated legs do not spontaneously regenerate in response to prayer. Amputees get no miracles from God.

If you are an intelligent person, you have to admit that it's an interesting question On the one hand, you believe that God answers prayers and performs miracles. On the other hand, you know that God completely ignores amputees when they pray for miracles.

How do you deal with this discrepancy? As an intelligent person, you have to deal with it, because it makes no sense. In order to handle it, notice that you have to create some kind of rationalization. You have to invent an excuse on God's behalf to explain this strange fact of life. You might say, "well, God must have some kind of special plan for amputees." So you invent your excuse, whatever it is, and then you stop thinking about it because it is uncomfortable.

I am a single mom who works fulltime. When I was hired, I was hired into a Sales Position that did not require travel. I had told my boss of my situation with a young son and he understood. Now the company is calling for a nationwide Sales Meeting out of state for 5 days. They say "all Sales Managers are required to be there". Well, I can't leave my son for 5 days. He is only 20 mos old and I also do not have any living family to help me watch him. I will not just leave him with anyone either. Yes, I could pay for a live-in Nanny during this time, but that is very expensive and I do not think the company would reimburse this.

Does anyone know the law in a case such as this? Can you get fired because you can't provide childcare in order to travel? Honestly, even if I put up the exhorbitant amount of money for a live-in Nanny for the week, I still would not feel comfortable leaving him that long. What if he gets hurt or gets sick, which has happened several times already.

When navigating the internet I get security alert dialog boxes such as the following:

"When you send information to the Internet, it might be possible for others to see that information. Do you want to continue?"

If I check the box that says, "In the future, do not show this message," how do I get the dialog box alert back sometime in the future? In other words, how do I reset these suppressed dialog boxes in IE and other Microsoft products? Will it require an adjustment in the registry?

I wasn't even aware that anybody was still doing this crap. I don't really listen to much rap music, I listen to Hip-Hop (Common, Cee-Lo, Outkast, Kanye, Talib, etc.) and yes there is a difference), but I was under the impression that all this beef crap was over, what are these fake thugs all whining about now? Does anyone knows of of a way of getting a small loan (around 1000 pounds) which is not a payday loan (which is not very recommended so i figured) nor a provident loan. I am not talking about increased overdraft, which is not allways feasable.

I moved down to the hampton roads area of virginia from long island, ny recently. I'm totally shocked at the difference in driving.

I realize new york drivers are stereotypically agressive drivers, myself no exception. However, i've been all around the country (west coast, gulf coast, north east) and nowhere are drivers more frustrating than in virginia.

dont people understand the left lane is for passing? i get so enraged when someone in the left lane is going EXACTLY the same speed as the person in the right lane, namely on 'rt. 64'.

He's comin' back home after about a month.I have missed him crazily all this while and really wish we could be together for valentines but he would be back on the 15th.I m lookin' for some way to get to him inflight.The flight is gonna be about 22 hours with two halts of 3-4 hours each.Any possible way..anybody?
