No not really. What kids what is to get out of school. Now if the school funded some of the parks and playground around the area then yes. The school needs to do more for the cumminty i think. For example have gyms, afterschool study for kids at a libary and offer some kind of rewards for students that attend these places (like free lunch at a resturant or gift cards to the mall) how to do this is to have a offical at the park or libary sign off that they were there. This way students are doing something for school and at the same time they have no clue they are. It will pay off in the end no matter how much it will cost the school.
