Does anyone knows of of a way of getting a small loan (around 1000 pounds) which is not a payday loan (which is not very recommended so i figured) nor a provident loan. I am not talking about increased overdraft, which is not allways feasable.
Thanks

Have you tried a bank? Where you would have a standard checking account?

Hi Nil.... Well in my opinion there are small risks in taking business loans. I think the biggest loop hole with unsecured loans is they will usually ask you to sign a PG - Personal Guarantee. Typically, any business that has a dependency on various external factors for its success is considered a high-risk business. Do not allow your past credit history or the high-risk nature of your business prevent you from growing and expanding like you should.

Best place to start is your bank.

There are lots of other companies that will offer you a loan, but really anything with interest over 10% is not a good move.

Why do you need the money? Is there a way you can cope without it? Also can you afford repayments on a loan?

If your bank refuses - and they know exactly how much you earn and spend - then you may be better off looking at other ways to cope without getting a loan.
