I have an Acer computer that has a DVD-ROM. I recently installed Windows Vista Home Basic. Before installing Vista my DVDs played fine. But now it says I need a DVD decoder. But I shouldn't have to pay to play DVDs now! Can someone please tell me what to do?!!

My husband hates his job and isn't qualified to do anything else. He acts like I have him locked into his job, but it's his lack of education that's stopping him from finding a job that makes as much somewhere else. He seems to have stopped growing up. Now that we have a small child, I have to be the "mommy" to both by making sure he stays at this job. We're barely making end meet now. I am also working full time. Our child care expenses are $700/month! How do I make him "be a man" and stop complaining about having to work at a place he doesn't like? I resent being the one who has to inform him that you give up your right to quit with no prospects when you have babies. What do I do?

Is it possible for a small town to live by its 1800 tenets and hope to thrive? I think of the Shaker People who are holy. The best at crafting furniture and household items.

Ever since I was little I was never able to blow my nose. Everytime I tried would result in my ears clogging up, my head feeling stuffy and my nose hurting. When I get sick, the mucos just runs down the back of my throat. I've tried talking to doctors and looking online for answers, but so far I've got none in reply. It's to be getting worse over the years, because now at any given time I cannot for the life of me breathe through both nostrils. Does anyone know what's causing this or how to remedy this? I would greatly appreciate it...

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. My family is Mexican and has been in CA since it was Alta California, Mexico. They were fortunate enough and were not thrown off their lands like most Mexican farmers and families were. So when my family hears the phrase "they are taking over" it's sickening to see how people really believe that they own the land that was stolen. If anything, Native Americans and Mexicans should be claiming that about you.

My ex will not leave me alone!! We were highschool sweethearts and dated for six years an even had a baby together but i ended the relationship because he is a pathalogaical liar and a cheat! I am currently engaged to the man of my dreams. But anyway we have been broken up for a year now and he has a baby with his girlfriend but he still texts and calls me saying he loves me and asks me to meet him a always tell no and do not call again unless it about our child... But when his current girl catches him doing this he lies to her about trying to constanly cheat with me... Its crazy and I'm so sick of it. This has been going on sice i left him even though he is living with his girlfriend. What else should i do? I have even told his girlfriend he needs to leave me alone that a dont love him. Then he will stop for about a month when she threatens to leave him then after about a month he stars up again. What is his problem??
