Apart from the obvious - first date with my wife, daughter born, etc?
When I was standing inside the gold vault, 5 stories beneath the Federal Reserve Bank in Manhattan, surrounded by about 650,000 (approx?) gold ingots worth $300,000 million dollars plus wheeled pallets of $100 bills worth (I was told) $6,000 million.
It is (I was told) the largest accumulation of gold in one place anywhere in the world. It was surreal. It cannot do anything but have an effect on you.

Mine is calling my husband from another city on the payphone (many years ago) and laughing so hard over the phone that people around me started to laugh too, eventhough they had no idea why I was laughing! I've never laughed so hard in my life and after 18 years, we still laugh about that phone call when we talk about it.
I LOVE that memory. ;o)

I used to drive a cab, and there was this young kid who was really drunk and wouldn't shut up. Everyone was trying to get him to shut up. He had a high whiney non-stop voice like some drunk people do. I thought it reminded me of when Anthony Michael Hall got stoned in 16 Candles. So, I said he was like Anthony Michael Hall, and all his friends thought it was hilarious, and they just couldn't get over how great and sort of obscure that comparison was. The kid finally shut up then. I really felt brilliant at that moment.

I'm not exactly an adult yet, but my funniest memory was seeing my best friend fall down a muddy slope on her stomach! (evil aren't I?)
