My Best Friend's Wedding. I love the scene where they are all in the restaurant singing "I say a little prayer for you." Also "The Wedding Singer."

Ugh. I don't even know. I want to get married and live happily ever after, but I don't know what I'm going to do about my wedding. I'm Indian, so I should probably have a traditional Indian wedding. But the probability of me marrying another Indian is very small. I don't think I'll marry an Indian. I don't know who I'll marry. But if I marry a Christian, he or his family will want a church wedding. And my family will want a traditional Indian wedding. I've heard of people having two separate weddings, before- my friend's sister married an Indian guy and had two weddings. But who has the money for that? So I don't know. We'll see how my wedding works out. It'll be interesting, let me tell you. But I don't even want to think about themes... that just makes my life more complicated than it already is! But if we were in Imagination Land, I would die for a Hogwarts wedding. And I'd come down the staircase as it moves and my entrance will be great and then I'll come down into the great halls, between the huge hourglasses of House Points, and go up to where the staff tables are supposed to be and it'll be great. Unless a floating candle comes too close to my train, in which case I'll be on fire and I don't want that. And if we were in Lyraland, I'd be Queen and I'd automatically have a great wedding. And if I were rich, I'd rent out a mansion and have a wedding there.

The Wedding Date [the most recent wedding-type movie I know of & have seen plus most definitely for a girly night as Dermot Mulrony is quite the piece of eye candy - yum!], My Best Friends Wedding, Muriels Wedding, The Wedding Planner, The Wedding Singer, 4 Weddings & a Funeral..... I thinks there's a theme here for these movies.....
Hope you have fun?!

I really like My Best Friends Wedding with Julia Roberts. It makes me cry at the end and really hits home. Not sure if it will be the right movie for your girly night though.

Are you absolutely sure your friend is a girlie rom-com type?
I would rather shoot myself in the knee than do a rom-com night and I'm a girl.
If you're sure, what about When Harry Met Sally? Even I can stomach that because at least it's a good film and well acted.

Try "The Wedding Planner" with J.Lo and Matthew McConaughey. That's one of my favorites! Good idea too, congrats to your friend.
