Have you ever had religious experiences that your thought were really experiences with God or other supernatural beings, and then after you became an atheist or agnostic you discounted those experiences? If so, what were they? What made you believe they were real at the time? What made you doubt them later on?

I heard it would take 2 months for the remodel to complete, which means 2 months of mortgage going to waste. Are there any contractors who can finish the project faster? Do they charge more?

Muslims in the west keep saying that theirs is a religion of peace, but in the east, it only breeds violence and hate. Yet no muslim seems to be making an effort to fix this, only to hide and excuse it. The koran is clear about killing infidels, yet some muslims insist it's a misinterpretation. Practice what you preach though and focus your attention on them, and leave us alone!

once upon a time a coupl named thier baby "Odd" thats it, no middle name not even a last name. for years he put up with all the jokes and teasing.. one day he died. He left instructions in his will that his tombstone was to be blank-no words or numbers. i am currently in this situation, i hav been with my boyfriend for almost 3years and he was going to propose to me for valentines day, he told his parents and they decided they didn't want us to be together no more because i am not the same religion or race. im very hurt about this, i love him so much and i want to spend my life with him but the only thing thats keeping us from being together is his family, what really bothers me is that his parents made this decision after so long, and they knew of my religion and background from day 1, now they won't even let us talk to eachother, im really depressed about this i need your opinions, please tell me your thoughts about this, what should my boyfriend do...or what should i do??

people think they have bad hygeine? Me my teeth are yellowish-white and i take really good care of my teeth brush twice a day and floss, and my dentist says i have excellent teeth. on the other hand i have a friend who hardly ever brushes her teeth drinks coke smokes and here teeth are way whiter than me. I really think it has to do with genetics...anyone agree?

My mate fancies a fella and from what I can see he likes her too, but they're both really shy. Should I intervene & send a v-day card with her number, letting him know she's unaware of the card but would like a text (which i know for a fact), and see if he responds? Or should I keep my nose out? I would never have considered doing anything like this before but I think its a pity they could miss out on something that could be special because of their shyness.
