Probably the best band name I have ever heard is a band called "Sheep on Drugs". They only ever had one hit in the uk charts and that was called "From A To H And Back Again". Still makes me chuckle everytime I think of it

A lot of bands have a colour in their name for some peculiar reason.. Blue, Green Day...Red hot Chillis , Black Sabbath..Deep Purple ..Maroon Five..Pink Floyd ..Blue oyster Cult..The Black Crowes ..or food names ,Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins..The Cranberries.. I like Heart -one syllable names
