I started working for and Agency. One week ago I was put on a temporary contract till march, the first day of my booking I experience a very hostile environment, at first I thought nothing of it that’s just life not everyone can't get along. one my second day I started to realize that the hostility was directed at me especially from the managers which happened to be two white women, I not really one to cry racism at any little thing I’m a strong person and I can handle myself. but I felt very uncomfortable with this environment it was the first time I’ve every experience such discrimination on the forth day I was called in the office and told that "I wasn’t what they were looking for" No other valid reason was discussed I later found out that another black girl was sent to the same company two weeks b4 and left for similar reason, should they get away with this?

I'm a nurse. I work nights in a nursing home and I usally adore my job.

My work load is unsafe and my residents are at risk at best and neglect at worst. My manager has proved herself to be completely unsupportive in response to my concerns.

I feel I am in the minority in my belief that the elderly deserve quality care and have constantly complained - even whistleblown! I have been acting as advocate for my residents for the past five years, but to no avail and now my health is suffering.

I rang in sick for my shift tonight because I can't bear the thought of going in again - last night was bad enough!

Is it time to look for another job, or do I just need time out?

I am from a wealthy family, my Dad was co. owner of BMW all over the world but now he has retired. I currently work in Target, can I do better? I would say I am wealthy and I have worked hard all my life. My birthday is in April and I want to plan ahead.
My friends are not as wealthy and work hard everyday and live in the same flat. I sometimes wonder how I ever got with them as I do not have anything in common, they like different music, clothes and hobbies as me. I also go to College part time and I have a group of friends there that I have more in common with.
I was thinking of a yacht and champagne theme and my new friends are rich. Should I invite my o ther friends that I have nothing in common with and are not wealthy - will they think i am trying to make them look dumb?
Please help, I would really appreciate it.

dont see my boyfriend very often as he is very busy in his final year of uni and he lives in a different town. We split up just before christmas and now we are back together but just 'seeing how things go' till he finishes uni as he is very busy. But i just hate missing him so much, i think about him all the time and really want him to text me, call me etc. But he's rapped up in his own life. Feels like he isn't bothered about me. Am i being selfish? How do i cope with missing him so much?

I really hope I dont get abuse from these losers that have been here for the last couple of hours! However I have a problem. I have just came out of a two year relation ship with my girl friend, she was the only girl I had been with. Now I am back on the gay scene, however, I dont ever seem to get chatted up. I am a very girly girl, not funky or rock chick, that seems to be what everyone finds hot these days. The girls I find attractive just aren't attracted to me, as im too girly, but I feel like when I wear baggy jeans etc that I am not who I am. I just want to go out and have fun, but I want to have it without changing myself. A (hot) girl told me last night that I was stunning, but I was not the 'norm' for a gay girl, and not whats 'popular' right now. How will I ever meet another decent girl whilst looking like this?

my boyfriend had cancer, you would think he would look after himself and excise after his recovery, but all he does is eating fatty crap food and drink sugar frizzy drinks, he rarely exercise.. i've told him that he is going to have another bout of cancer if he doesn't stop, but he got angry and defensive. i have a close friend. he is secretly my crush. i just can't tell him that i like him, because i'm afraid he dont like me, and after that it will be awkward to be friends with him like before. so, i dont take that risk to save my friendships with him. i like him, and he's special to me. he is sort of a shy and silent boy, especially facing girls. but he is okay with me, he talks to me, IMs me, text messaging me, and he's comfortable being friends with me. but, in our friendship, i think its all about him! he talks about himself all the time, and he never really cares about myself. when i'm sick and heve to go to the hospital, he never ask, what are your sickness?, are you okay? etc. and when i'm feeling down, he still talks about himself. when i'm happy, he never ask why. DO YOU THINK THAT HE'S PRETENDING TO NOT CARE ABOUT ME, OR HE IS A SELFISH BOY? and sometimes, i think he likes me, but sometimes, i think i'm not his type of girl.

He was not that old, and he died unexpectently. I keep dreamin about him all the time, that he is still alive,and then I wake up in the morning and I feel overwhelmed by grief again. I have been dreaming that he was stroking my cheek as I lay in bed and on a couple of occasions I have woken up and swore blind that I can still feel stroking on my cheek, as though this is actually happening. Could this be my imagination or am i going mad?
