My husband recently passed his LVN he has applied at several places and NOTHING, he won't beg for a job (which I don't blame him) but one of the Dr's where he works recommened him to apply at one of the hospitals that the DR is part owner, so of course my husband applied immediately, the next day the Dr asked if my husband applied which he said yes the Dr gave him a thumbs up and said good. This has been 3 weeks, my husband will not go to the hospital or check on his application (he has applied several places, but he is a new grad) he has worked in the acute field for over 15 year. (I thought there was a nursing shortage) I do not understand. It has been over 3 weeks since he applied at the hospital. Would it be over the line if I called the hospital?? What do you all recommend.

My wife was married before to a man that was very abusive towards her (I saw the police report) it was so bad that she was automatically granted a three year restraining order against him. She was fed up because her ex husband was having an affair with the brides maid which they are currently together and expecting to have a child soon. However, she having to pay child support and doesn't seem to have a desire to get custody of her son. I notice till this day she is very submissive to him always asking for permission for visitation. She even let it go at the mediation. In addition her ex has abused another woman and she gave my wife documenation of her abusive experience to submit in court but my wife didn't do it. It pisses me off and I like to know why doesn't she stand up to him and bring her son into our home where there is no abuse?

In the summer I was 115 lbs, 5'3"... I went on the pill for about 4 months, started to eat alittle more and excersiced less, so I wasn't surprised when I gained 15 lbs. Igot off the pill and started to excersice just like I used to and eat smaller portions. I also ate more veggies and fruits and limited my bad carbs and sugar. Its been over a month and I haven't lost any weight! I excersice 5 days a week for about an hour and a half, weight training included! What could be going on? I had my thyroid checked so its not my metabolism. What's going on with me? Before, if I gained 5 lbs, I was able to lose it within 2 weeks, but now it seems impossible! Help :(

I put my xD card into my card reader which accepts xD cards but nothing happens...Just an hourglass signalling too wait but thats it, It goes away and thats it no menu saying to copy photos too a file blah blah blah...I have tried other cards and they work! but i tried my card on another machine and it worked...Hmmm help?

The blonde reported for her university final examination that consists of "yes/no" type questions. She takes her seat in the examination hall, stares at the question paper for five minutes, and then in a fit of inspiration takes her purse out, removes a coin and starts tossing the coin and marking the answer sheet "Yes" for Heads and "No" for Tails.

Within half an hour she is all done, whereas the rest of the class is sweating it out During the last few minutes, she is seen desperately throwing the coin, muttering and sweating. The moderator, alarmed, approaches her and asks what is going on.

"I finished the exam in half an hour, but I'm rechecking my answers."

I tried rebooting it by unplugging the power to the cable modem and the vonage modem i waited more than 30 seconds and than plugged them back in waited another 30 seconds and rebooted my computer everything I'm supposed to do. I don't have another router. please help.

I filed exempt i think 05 when i was 17.then i turned 18 and had to get it changed so i wont pay taxes so i can get the refund.and this was january 06.but i dont remember filling another w2 though.but i did tell my boss.i dont know actually i forgot.omg im confused i need to talk to the tax people.

I got my clear braces yesterday. No elastic, just wire. A few (urgent) questions:
1) How long before I can expect to stop feeling that I have a ton of something in my mouth?
2) How long before I can expect to stop feeling the pain from the wires pulling-in at my teeth? Or is this permanent ?
3) The metal braces from my molars hurts my cheek. Is this temporary or permanent? what can I do about it?
4) I dont feel like talking a lot. Is this going to be permanent till I get the braces off?
5) What foods can I eat/not eat? I am a vegetaria. Can someone tell me whether I can eat each of the foll or not?
