the way i do it is.........unplug both your cable modem and vonage adapter. wait five minutes. plug in your cable modem first and give it a good five minutes before you plug in your vonage adapter. make sure your cable modem has gone online completely before plugging in vonage. if your adapter is like mine.....and the green light blinks....wait till it has stopped blinking before checking for dial tone. hope this helps

Unplug all the cable's from your modem and the router.
Wait for 5 minutes and the power up your modem after your modem is up and running only plug in plug in the power cable of the router wait until it's powered up connect all the other cables.

If it still doesn't work you might have to reconfigure the router with the modem!

Good Luck!!!

is there's a conncection with the internet from cable modem? if there's is then signal to ur vonage modem got lost somewhere in the middle, otherwise call cable, maybe they have outage. they shoudl be able to check the signal coming out of ur cable modem. might be problem with wires.
