Does anyone else hate it when mainstream ruins bands/songs?

I hate it when there's a song or a band I love and then they show up on TRL or something and the next thing I know everyone's singing the song or raving about the band, then don't care two months later when they're no longer cool? It really bugs me. It ruins that song/band for me. Some bands can withstand selling out or recover from it, others never will and it's increadibly sad.

Will she call?

my girlfriend broke up with me after 8 years together. I know she still loves me but just wants to have time alone to do things before settling down. We have made no future plans to get back together and because i was so hurt i even said not to call me, write me, contact me or anything and she agreed. Do you think that she will listen to that or understand i only said it given the situation and my hurt? Should i tell her i didnt mean what i said? Will she call?

who purchased the church with his own blood? yahweh or jesus? read my ans?

The New World Translation here reads;

"Pay attention to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the holy spirit has appointed you overseers, to shepherd to congregation of God, which he purchased with the blood of his own [Son]."
WHO PURCHASED CHURCH WITH HIS OWN BLOOD?

Ac 20:28 Why is [Son] in brackets? How can this be "understood" without being in the Greek text explicitly?

The New American Standard Bible reads here:

to shepherd the Church of God which He purchased with His own Blood."
This would mean, that, as it was Jesus who was the one who died upon the "stauros," and whom the scriptures tells us "poured out his blood,"(Mat.26:28; John 6:54; 1 John 1:7)he is here referred to as "God."

is it just me or or does dwyane wade get all the calls from the officials?

it started with the NBA finals last year against the mavericks when it seemed that wade got to the free throw line at every time he drove through the lane.ticky tack fouls which usually arent called were being gifted to him. taking nothing away from wade,he surely is one of the 3 most talented players in the nba, i jsut think he gets more calls than other NBA stars.

This Wierd recurring dreams...?

otay.. im no stranger to wierd dreams.. or recurring dreams.. usually the recurring ones are sad, scary dreams. but recently i've been having some nice recurring dreams! In my dream im a senior (im a sophomore currently) and im at a Model UN meeting one day (we have them tuesdays after school) when i get a picture messege to my cell phone.. its a picture of a guy thats in a uniform. in the dream he's my best friend and he' been a Navy Pilot and away for a year and in the pic he's standing right outside the door. I get up and run outside and he's standing there and i hug him and im crying cuz im soo happy.. but i cant, forthe LIFE of me see who it is! i just know he's tall and has blue eyes... which only describes.. oh.. most of the males i know!

what could it mean? could it mean that one of my friends is gonna join the Navy? i'm just wondering what it might mean.

14 and I just got spanked?

I usually just get lectured when I get in trouble. Well, I got into so bad stuff at school and cussed out a teacher, when she sent me to the principle I didn't go and sprayed the word B**** on her door. Ha, well I thought it was funny. Well, anyway I get sent to the office, and my mom come's to get me, all the way home she's yelling at me and crap. I get out of the car and she said, You're grounded, three weeks. I said w/e and pushed her. I didn't realize my dad was looking out the window, from his study, when I did. My dad ran down stairs, grabbed me and toled me to go to my room. I said no, so he grabbed my arm and pulled me to my room, he slammed the door and then I noticed he was pulling off his belt. I really didn't know what he was doing. I tryed to escape but he pulled down my jeans and boxers threw me on the bed and spanked me 25 times. I was crying when he finished and I realized he was to. I don't think I should of been spanked. He didn't abbuse me. Am I right?

Why does it seem like the girls I don't like, like me, but the girls I do like don't like me? (seems that way)

For some reason it always seems like the girls I'm NOT into always wanna talk to me but the one's I do like talk to me but not as much as I would like. Am I setting my standards to high? I mean I'm sure if I'm just imagining it, because certain people are attracted to certain people afterall.
