It's called sacrifice... you can squeeze your friends in the other five days of the week. Conquer time management. You gotta ask yourself one question, which one is more important?

Scheduling is hard. But if they are real friends, they will support your decision and be happy that you got this oppertunity to dance.
But, 2 days isn't a lot. I don't know what else you do, but 2 days a week leaves 5 other days to hang out. If one of those days was your "girl's night" then you might need to change it or go after pratice. I used to dance 4 days a week at my studio, 4 days a week for dance team, and musical practice 3-4 days a week.

i dance too. almost every single day of the week.
its a hard sacrafice sometimes, especially when your competing.
life will get hectic trying to balance it all but eventually you'll become a time-management pro.
actually, thinking about it, i am far from a time-management pro.....but somehow it all seems to work out.
i dont get to see some people as often as i used to but ALWAYS make sure there is time for them.
never forget about your friends. but if your passionate about dance, do NOT get turned off by this and keep on doing it!!
make sure that even if you don't see people as often that you keep in touch as often as possible: aim, texting, phone convos.
also, just try to get everything done more efficently so that when you have free time you can dedicate it just to hanging out with them. and not stressing.
have fun with dance team!
hope this helps and im sure your friendships will stay strong!

I'm on an all star dance team and I have practice 5 days a week. Plus school, and I have studio classes 3 days per week, and I'm a member of an extracirrucular ballet company at my dance school. You learn to schedule time for friends around your dance schedule. Sacrifice. Learn it. If it's not worth it to you, then quit. Really. Or stop complaining.

..i have dance 2 days a week and i just got on the dance team and this week i had to go for like 4 days
i still have time for my friends
just make time
if u have dance at 5 then go to dinner with your friend
or if u have dance at 6 then go to your friends house right after school
or just call them a few times a week
or if u really want to spend time with them then just take a week off from dance
or have them sleep over

I'm doing dance three days week and helping in four ballet classes. I understand how hard it is to squeeze friends in, fortunately for me one of my friends does dance with me and I see my other friends at church. one thing you can do is maybe go shopping with your friends or something like that on the weekends. plus you have four other days that are empty.

Welll...This is my schedule:
Musical practice two hours on five days of the week.
Ballet on six days.
Dance company at school for three days
Jazz on one day.
And I still have time for my friends.
With only two days you should be able to manage.
