it started with the NBA finals last year against the mavericks when it seemed that wade got to the free throw line at every time he drove through the lane.ticky tack fouls which usually arent called were being gifted to him. taking nothing away from wade,he surely is one of the 3 most talented players in the nba, i jsut think he gets more calls than other NBA stars.

I don't think he gets all of the calls it's just that when you no jump shot and all you do is drive to the basket, you're bound to go to the line a bunch of times

Wade gets a lot of fouls because he drives right down the lane into the heart of the defense. Referees will call just about any contact made when that happens.
Gilbert Arenas is the same way and nobody complains about him getting the same calls.

yeah he does. ask kobe bryant... he'll tell you. ask every team broadcaster besides the heat, they'll tell you that you are right too. in the words of don nelson... "NOT EVERYTHING IS A FOUL!" its just the way he drives to the basket. every single time he goes in he always tries to get the extra point or, even if he doesnt make it, get the two free shots. its ridiculous. most of the time the officials get it wrong because in their eyes, wade is untouchable. oh and next to manu ginobli he flops like a master. no doubt wade's a good player and perhaps he's smart for playing the way that he does but its a cheap way to score, if you ask me. it pains me to watch heat games because of this. talk about slowing down the game! gosh...

BUT HE IS THE LATEST FLAVOR OF HYPE AND THE NBA DOES WHAT IT DOES BEST HAVING PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT AVERAGE PLAYERS LIKE WADE ARE GREAT. HE'S NOT AN ALL AROUND PLAYER (OFF AND DEF) AND NEVER WILL BE. ALL the superstars do. What ticks me off is when Wade (and other superstars) jump INTO the defender and go to the line. It's BS.

yes.. it's true.. but other players like corey magette, iverson and lebron james got more free throws too..
it's just the way they draw fouls for free throws.. not really nice, and mostly pause the game tempo, but that's the way the game is...

yea ur right. he drives in out of control and gets the calls. wtf is that about? just cuz he runs into people, he gets the calls. thats like the only way he gets most of his points.
