I hate it when there's a song or a band I love and then they show up on TRL or something and the next thing I know everyone's singing the song or raving about the band, then don't care two months later when they're no longer cool? It really bugs me. It ruins that song/band for me. Some bands can withstand selling out or recover from it, others never will and it's increadibly sad.

YES it bugs me too! radio, mtv, fuse, trl, bet they all ruin music and just overplay it till it gets annoying!!! they ruined nirvana when 'smells like teen spirit' came out...
this is my advice. if you ever stumble upon any kind of good, undiscovered music, only share it with the closest of friends and pray to god that other music/tv/radio industries wont find it.
the best music is not found on the radio.

I know its so annoying,
good thing everyone hates emo music at my school, so MCR is still cool to me
