My son is 14 years old and is in the 9th grade. Yesterday was his birthday and his teacher allowed him to have a celebation in the classroom. He says that his teacher gave him and about 5 of his classmates 3 shots of vodka. My son came home from school drunk and slurring his words.
My husband doesn't really think that its such a big deal that our son came home drunk. He says that our son is old enough to make his own decisions and if he wants to be a drunk then that's his business not ours. Is this right? Should my son be allowed to get drunk if he wants to? Should I allow his teacher to get away with this?? Help please!

Why isn't offense taken when Bill Maher on HBO's "Real Time" uses a homophobic slur jokingly?
I feel as if he speaks condescendingly toward and about gaypeople, almost contempteously. Maybe he's trying to prove how much of a STRAIGHT-up goon that he is. I can't believe "The Advocate" named him "Person of the Year". It's unphathomable! They might as well had deemed Mel Gibson the saint and good samaritan throughout the whole millenium.

Why do gaypeople get selectively offended? They do nothing when Donald Trump, Imus, and the like mentions something that will only seem to discredit the homosexual community. However, they get all bent out of shape when Isaiah Washingtoon mentions the F word. I mean, what's up with that? It makes me almost ashamed to stick for gaypeople, despite my being a lesbianwoman, as if gaypeople deserve everything bad that goons throw their way.

I have a 2000 desk top computer with Pentium 2 with 64mb of memory. I’m new to the technical side of the computers but I’m getting there fast (I already updated it with a new internet processor and windows XP took me a couple hours but I did it). is it possible to color your hair with food coloring or koolaid?? i have heard of it but never seen anyone thats done it or even know how to do it. i wanna put some blue highlights in my girls hair, but there is no hair color at the store to buy. plz help and let me know if it really works or damages your hair. thnx

I have loved that program since day one but it is really not as good as it used to be, especially now with all of the original actors gone. I could hardly stand it last night when the guy kidnapped Dr. Lucca Kovach, tortured him out of revenge & it seemed to go on too long. My husband left me and our 3 children 2 weeks ago. He is now in FL and not sure if he will come back. He says he will take care of the children but doesn't want me to file for child support. He's not working yet. Says if I do he'll sue me for half of everything. Just got a new house (3 months ago). Could I lose it and everything I have worked for? House not in his name. Finances are not jointly in his name. We were married in NY, house in PA. Where do I stand legally? He abandoned us and I'm left to care for our children in everyway (all under 10). How many calories should i cosume? I know that the average make should consume 2,500. But i am on the slim fast diet, and it says to eat about 1,500.So, when i am done with the diet should i stay at 1500 or go to 2000? i think that would make me gain weight unless i exercised more often. And is is ok to exercise everyday? Examples; Walking, jogginf for 30 minutes. I am 22, 5'10 and exercise about 3-5 times a week. i have a medium build. i want to lose weight and I am currently 185 lbs. I want to get down to a 150-160. Also what are good ways to flatten your belly?

He acts like he doesnt care anymore, but when we discuss breaking up he says okay i dont care, but he calls me back within a few minutes or hours...i asked him who was at his house the other day and he just laughed and said nobody baby, and i cont. to laugh everytime i asked him...but he swears up and down that there wasnt any one there just his aunt and uncle....when i ask about someone being there, he says if u cant trust me then we might as well break up, and if i say i believe him he cont. to say u dont believe me u think im cheating on u....does he want me to think he is, is he cheating on me but he doesnt have the balls to tell me so he rather me break up with him??? Please help me figure this out....its driving me crazy if u cant tell....also, if u have any suggestions on how to catch him if he is or any signs i should be aware of that could mean he is cheating on me.. let me know!!! We got our cat when at 6 months old, he is now 10 months. There are a few issues i need help
1) Recently, and I mean in the last few weeks he has been biting me when he is on the floor and i stoke him or play with him. Is this because he is making a transiition from kitten to cat and I need to give him space and affection on his terms? He was a very cuddly kitten but i always let him come to me. Today he drew blood and he bites so hard.
2) He is also into chewing everything and goes out of his way to find things to chew (like pawing behind the fishtank to get the cables to chew) and he will eat anything he isnt meant to and wont eat wet food. He purrs like a goodun when he is cuddly .
3) being cheeky and scratching all but the scratch posts and NOTHING stops him, hissing at him, saying no, showing him the scratch post and also water is a toy
4) He is chasing one of my other cats all the time and she is scared of him and obviously feels like a victim HELLLLLP
