Go to your local shelter. They almost always have JRTs due to their high energy. People get JRTs without fully researching them and then surrender then when they can't deal with their high energy levels.

1st off, how much do you know about the breed? The JRT is a very aggressive breed (now known as the Parson Russell Terrier per AKC) that doesn't get along well with other animals & is super hyperactive & as a rule they don't make a good house dog if that is your intent. If they spot a rabbit, squirrel or like critter - they are GONE! Do your research before deciding on any breed. Good luck.

Go to http://craigslist.com and find your specific local area and then find pets. There are so many pups/dogs posted there daily that are in need of homes, even pure-breeds too. The fees range from free to hundreds. You will want to scan the ads daily until you find what you are looking for. You can also post an ad yourself for pup wanted.

Just google them for your area....look in the paper....look in the shelter....look on Petfinder.org.....there are many in shelters waiting for a good home simply because most people can't/won't deal with a terrier....I would start there.

dont listen to anyone else, craigslist.com is the best place to find dogs cats and pretty much anything else. Remember to look at other cites nearby too. Hope This help.

GO TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY THEY HAVE ALL KIND OF PUPPIES AND THEY ARE NORMALLY ONLY 80 DOLLARS PLUS YOU WOULD BE GIVING A GOOD HOME TO AN UNFORTUNATE PUPPY,

you just go to SPCA and look! make sure you and your husban is in love wiht the dog and is going to take care of it like a kid is in your family~
