I currently have T-Mobile and want to switch to Verizon. My T-Mobile plan doesn't expire until February 14, and I want to keep my number from T-mobile when I swich. Here's my question....can I change providers now and switch my number to verizon with out having to cancel the T-mobile (since I'm still in contract until the 14th).

i got a 6 month tourist visa last year, no problems, but this year i want to be in india for 9-12 months. does anyone know if an employment visa is easy to get (i'll be teaching in a monastery), or a longer tourist visa, and if so, how long will the embassy take to process the application? last year they took 4 days with the 6 month one. any help greatly appreciated, the embassy weren't very forthcoming.

A broken heart? especially when its been broken so many times its changed who you are, changed your life. How do you get over so much emotional pain that its torn you away from the people you love? How do you reverse all the effects, and end the lonliness and emptiness? I'm in a black hole, and its tearing my life apart. I used to self-harm, and I developed an ED and I tried to commit suicide 3 times, but funnily enough, i never went to see a shrink. My parents dont care enought to think anythings wrong. So just like, how do I help myself??

I'm not kidding. If two men or two women marrying one another is such a threat to the sacred bonds of marriage, then why is marriage so easy to get out of? Why keep divorce legal, but rally against letting gay marriage be legal? Isn't divorce a bigger threat to marriage than love?

I hear that in some Asian culture there's a thing where people put kittens in some sort of bowl or sphere. The cat grows and fills the bowl like a furry toy and the owner feeds it with a straw. Is that true? Point me to some articles or pictures if you can/if it is.
