I hear that in some Asian culture there's a thing where people put kittens in some sort of bowl or sphere. The cat grows and fills the bowl like a furry toy and the owner feeds it with a straw. Is that true? Point me to some articles or pictures if you can/if it is.

No that is not true becuase growing a kitten inside a bowl is not possible. Think about it: the cat needs to eat but he also needs to pee and to poop. I am Asian and I have NEVER heard this thing done. The story was probably invented by someone who wants to gross people out.

Mostly its a myth no one does it and it was originally a joke but some very stupid people were trying it. Its illegal and cruelty and comes with a very hefty jail sentence and very expensive fines. Its Called Bonsai Cats. Its the most stupid thing in the world but here ya go on a website.
