17 years ago I was widowed. My husband had a six year old grandson that was born during our marriage. I felt as though he were my grandson and I adored him. After a few years I remarried and his daughter (the boys mom) did not approve. Therefore our relationship was splintered. For the last few years I have been watching the paper to see if he was getting married. Well, last Sun. there it was. I was thrilled to see a picture of him. Would it be proper to attend his wedding without an invitation. I just want to see him get married. He would not know who I was, but of course his mom would.

The Iraqi Ambassador to the UN was walking down the hallway and bumped into President Bush.
Hoping to break the ice with an innocuous comment, the ambassador quickly said, "Respectfully, sir. I have a question about what I’ve seen in America."
Politely, President Bush answered, "If I can help explain things to you, please let me know."
The Iraqi whispered. "My little girl watches this show called 'Star Trek' and in this show, there’s Chekov who is a Russian, Scotty who is Scottish, Sulu who is Chinese… but there aren't any Iraqis. Why aren’t there any Iraqis on Star Trek?".
President Bush whispered back to the ambassador, "It's because Star Trek takes place in the future."

One winter morning in Montana a couple was listening to the radio while eating breakfast. They heard the announcer say, "We are going to have 8 to 10 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the even-numbered side of the street, so the snow plows can get through." Norman 's wife went out and moved her car.

A week later while they were again eating breakfast, t he radio announcer said, "We are expecting 10 to 12 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the odd-numbered side of the street, so the snow plows can get through." Norman 's wife went out and moved her car again.

The next week they were again having breakfast, when the radio announcer said, We are expecting 12 to 14 inches of snow today. You must park..." Then the electric power went off. Norman 's wife was very upset, and with a worried look on her face she said, "Honey, I don't know what to do. Which side of the street do I need to park on so the snow plows can get through?"

With the love and understanding in his voice that all men who are married to blondes exhibit, Norman said, "Why don't you just leave it in the garage this time ?"

I am trying to figure out what makes better sense. I claim 1 dependent, myself, and wonder if I should claim two as head of household, martgage or something else. I enjoy getting a return but don't want to give the government extra money by having so much taken out of my check. I certainly don't want to owe. I file long and include mortgage, property tax, donation etc. I usually get about 1,600. back from Fed. and 700. back from State.

Here's the opproximate figures:

Gross per month: 4,032.
Fed: 716.
State: 322.
OASDA: 280.
Medicare: 65.
Empl. Deductions: 82.
Take home about: 2,650.

Thanks for your time.

What should I do if I knew people committing fraud? They file fax w2's each yr and here i am stuck paying back each yr for making too much money, these people are unemployeed and has never had a job. And then have the nerve to get mad because they got less this yr than last and is collecting welfare child care money and has no supervision, watching or baby sitting no one child this is a 2,200 a month and got supposely 1,800 in taxes.
What do i do?
It makes me mad because i work hard and sometimes to tired to go and have fun and here they sit on their a**es and get paid.
I think the system should hire me and others to go to the homes of everyone on welfare and if working, fraud, have babies dad or others there boot them out.
WELFARE IS FOR ASSITANCE NOT FOREVER!!
1-2yrs max and your a** is off no matter what, it does not take more than 2 yrs to get your sh** 2gether, then the people who needs it can't get on or get it. OUR SYSTEM IS F**KED

So like I have an 18% card right. So what I'm trying to understand is how the bank charges me for that 18%. Like say I buy something on credit card for $40. Do they charge me the 18% at the end of the month or per purchase? I'm new to this and have no idea. O and if you have any heads up please tell. I already know not to lose it and don’t never over charge. Also don’t give out the number on the card and pay you’re bills on time. Anymore I should know please tell. Thanks. It's Bank of America.
