He has to blame somebody for his failings. Why not Iran? He would have liked to have blamed the Democrats but they were unconveniently in the minority at the time. He thought about blaming his wife, but she said that if he did, she would stomp him.

I don't think that it is as likely to be a lie as before the WMD debacle. You have to trust leadership on issues like this. Bush has incurred the wrath of many people, and now the Democrats are ascending on the teeter-toter. Would you believe Iran more than Bush. I would not.
Both Democrats and the Republicans do a good deal of "fluffing the truth)". The Democrats just leave the little guy more. Neither party has been financially prudent.

Yes.

First of all, Bush is not blaming it all on Iran. He said that there's evidence that Iran is supplying weapons to insurgents, and that Iranians are involved in attacks inside Iraq.

Second, I'm so sick of hearing about the WMDs. How many times did Saddam deny the UN inspectors full access? How long would it take to move the WMDs from Iraq to a neighboring terror-friendly country? Saying that there are no WMDs is like saying that because you had time to hide the porn and flush the tissues, you've never whacked off.

In this case I do for the following reasons
1. Iran and syria BOTH have long been known sponsors of terrorism.

2. they see it as a way to put political pressure on the US and if its anti US then they are usually infolved to some extent

3. it would also put pressure on the US oil wize if the current iraqi govt crumbles (and unfortunately I think it will) I believe that you will see 3 new countries. the shia will either merge with or ally themselve with Iran (big land and oil bonus) the suni likely will get swallowed by the saudis and the kurds have long desired their own country this would give them the excuse.

4. It would also put them iinto a position to strike at isreal as they have recently stated the desire to wipe it off the map. not only that but they would be more able to take on the saudis when they want to.and that would mean you guessed it more oil.

5. Iran sits where between Iraq and af ghanistan the perfect funnel point for terrorists to come through the benefit to Iran is that the dirty work is being done by radicals from outside their own country thus saving that many extra Iraninan soldiers.

that being said what deterent do they have not to. All of the above are not disadvantages to them. they are actually oportunities.

I'm sorry so many people don't believe that there were WMD's but my brother is in Iraq and has personally found evidence of dismantled WMD's. Where all the components are is anybody's guess. Saddam had plenty of time and miles of desert to hide any evidence.

Iran is provoking a war with the US. This is a plain fact. Not a fiction made up by neo conservative Bush-backers.

I'm sorry you are so blinded by hate for one person. Don't believe everything you hear or read in the news and newspapers. Almost all media is biased in one direction or the other. Instead find hard concrete facts and verify them personally.

Watch any of the nighttime TV talk shows and many of the reporters discuss Iran's role in the situation. I don't thing Bush lies all the time. Iran and Iraq haven't always been the best neighbors to each other but they both don't care for the US too much either.

No, I don't believe that for one moment. Iran may be supplying Iraq with some weapons, but there are other neighbors that could be doing the same.
Bush is trying his best to get us into a war with Iran, the military & Industrial rulers of America haven't made enough money to satisfy them yet. Bush does not care how many of our loved ones die in these phony wars, he has lost no one. Congress should get off it's hands & stop him. It remains to be seen if this new democratic congress has any more guts than the last Republican controlled one had. Perhaps they will, they know unequivocally the people are against any more war.

That is unadulterated BS! George Bush's own father said that there would be a civil war if we went into Iraq!

They might be fanning the flames and they may be providing some weapons.

This is a CIVIL war and we should not even be in it, or are we going to put in another Saddam Hussein?

And No, I would not not believe a damn word Bush says. He has never told us the truth about anything!

Sorry, If you don't keep up on whats going on I feel sorry for all of you. Leave Bush out of this one.

The President of Iran makes it very clear what his intentions are.
How about somebody, somewhere, out there forget about blaming Bush for everything.

The President of Iran has stated publicly many times that he wants to exterminate the US (yes, that means you and everyone else in the US) and Israel.

Lets get real.

Have you ever heard Bush declare that there were no Weapons of Mass Destruction? He has never divulged what we did or did not find in Iraq. After talking to troops who were fighting the insurgents I believe that Iran and Syria are both feeding the Iraq uprising.

If you listen to Pelosi and others who just go for publicity we did nto find anything but talk to troops who were there and the story is a whole lot different!!!
