tricky question, the old I just hit her once defense:
I say she should never return and if there was a reason like money that drove a man to do this he should either check him self or be glad she left.
Many relationships are based on money so the abuse thing can be accepted by a man or woman if they want the money bad enough. But then again that woul dmake those people prostitutes and therefore this is not much of a family as much a well a hooker.
Now I know why families are so messed up.

She should NEVER return.
Domestic violence is a cycle and 9 times out of 10, the man eventually murders the woman he proclaims to love.
It only takes once, one slap or one punch, and then the woman should flee as fast she can.

She shouldn't return!! This could happen again and her husband should seek help before he does something he regrets. Often wife beaters grew up in abusive homes.

Well some women never come back some come back running and believe in thier heart he has changed and hopefully he has but the majority of the time he doesn't unless he gets professional help....

she shouldn't go back because she well any women should not get beat from her husband and it don't matter if he said i'm sorry cause if you go back again and again ever time he apologize it's only going to get worse.

yes, she would return shortly so she can be abused by the person she loves(sarcastically)...or should i say loved. Sorry won't save the man now. Whats done is done and can't be taken back.
