Yes.
One of the strangest things that ever happened to me is that an odd-looking man came into the pizza parlor I worked at and asked for a cup of coffee, which I gave him.
He sat for about an hour, got two refills and never ordered anything else.
Before he left, he spoke to me.
"There is greatness within you, even if you do not see it. You day will come."
And he left. I never saw him again.

Depends what you mean by "something great". If it means working at the same job for 23 years, living paycheck to paycheck, trying to raise two kids, paying my taxes and remembering to feed the cats, then sure, I'm already there! :-)
(If you mean something earth shattering or world changing, then probably not)
