No, sharks if they are hungry enough (or if, say, you're on a surfboard and look like a seal when viewed from below) will attack humans at any times.

When they smell blood, though, they track it down. Sharks can smell blood in the water from miles away.

Most sharks aren't very interested in blood, and human blood in particular. Generally only the larger sharks like the great white are attracted to it. Most attacks have more to do with sharks mistaking people for seals, or poor visibility. That said it can be a factor. Scuba divers for example are almost never attacked unless they are spear fishing.

PS- It's pretty rare that a shark eats a human. Most attacks are a single bite.

no; they can also attack when you are just treading water or laying on a surfboard, as humans may look a bit like seals to them. (sharks don't have the best eyesight.) But they can detect one drop of blood out of hundreds of gallons of water.

sharks will never purposely eat huamns unless they are STARVING and mistake them for a seal or something. In all honestly, sharks are as sweet and playful as dolphins. :)

they bite people when people provoke them remember we go into their terotory wich is the water so we risk our own lives when we go in and they tend to atack people when they smell blood cuz they mistake u for an animal dyin

no they go after other fish that bleed.
