It's a '90 Ranger S-Cab, 2.9 L with and A4LD trans, and sat for 2 years with a wasted trans. I swapped the trans out for a reman A4LD, and all is swell except for the speedo. In the dash it now reads dramatically faster than actual mph, and past 65 mph the needle buries itself past 85, and actual speed is close to 65. Needle movement is smooth. The original speedo drive had 17 teeth, and the replacement drive is the same. Cable and cable engagement seems to be fine. Tire size and rear end ratios are stock- no change out, and the speedo worked fine before the trans failure. Anyone have any ideas?

Part 2- my factory tach intermittantly will read approx 500-1000 rpm higher than normal (700 rpm at idle norm), showing 1200 at idle, then occasionally after returning to "idle", will function properly for awhile. My schematics do not show the factory tach. What circuit is the tach drive connected into, and do I possibly have a bad ground or dash buffer? I'm stumped!!

Okay, here's my story.... I have raised my son as a single mom until recently becoming engaged. My son is now 6 years old. I'm getting married this year and talking another child shortly thereafter. I'm not so much worried about the relationship between my fiance and my son, they are best buds. However, I am worried about how my son will react to a new baby in his recently added on family. Has anyone gone through a similar situation and how has it impacted you and your child?

I am interested in getting a male betta for my home. As I live in a cooler house (68 degrees...sometimes 66!) I was thinking a small 1 or 2 gallon tank with a little heater? I know bettas do not like cool water. Also, what are some other types of fish that are compatible with a male betta? Any help is appreciated.

anyone out there dealing with a close friend who has fibromyalgia/CFIDS? ok... what happened was...i used a trimmer to trim my hair down below and now i am really irritated around my holes and up my lips because when i walk the stubbles or something r rubbing together or something and causing a really bad irritation also, right afterwards when i trimmed i sat in a bath with bath beads that were scented which i figured out was a HUGE MISTAKE!!! i have to have surgery tomorrow and can barely walk!!! what is something I can do for fast relief? *i tried baby rash cream and it made it worse. right now i have triple antibiotic on it. it soothes it a bit to where i can walk.*

I am trying to settle a dispute at work...

Do you or do you not agree that, especially in such times, it is essential that when considering a partner, that:

1) you do a personal, criminal, employment background check,

2) you perform a credit check,

3) you go to the clinic to be tested for STDs/HIV?

**Co-workers/acquaintances believe that it's meddling in people's private lives and that it's immoral/unethical.

***I believe that it's significant for a relationship to build or dismantle, to cancel out any questions--any unknowns.
I believe that one should be entitled/have the right to do a background check on one's partner if they are looking to involve themselves and open up their private lives with another.
I don't believe enough people are doing this to keep safe.
