"The man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20, has wasted 30 years of his life."

Do you feel it is ever okay to become complacent with where you are in life?

Never!!! If we do not learn by living our lives then it is a terrible waste. Any well-adjusted person will tell you that they would change the way they lived, spoke, loved, grieved, etc. To look back on 30 years and have no regrets is to say that you didn't learn a thing.

hm. that quote i think implies if someone hasn't matured, then they haven't really lived life... i kind of agree with it.. cause most people at 20 years old arent very wise, however THERE ARE people who are wise at that young age.

i think it isnt' ok to be complacent about where someone is. someone should live their life knowing in a couple of years, theyll be proud of their achievements. anyone who looks back at their life complacently really has wasted 30 years of their life.

I don’t know anyone who views the world the same at 50 as they did at 20, simply because during that time they’ve grown, matured, and gained wisdom.

No, I think we grow and learn everyday no matter how old or young we may be. If you grow complacent you aren't living your life to its fullest potential!
