It seems to me that although we know that torturing the brother is a good idea, Jack doesn't. Has he just lost his mind, or is there some other evidence of his brother's complicity in a crime that Jack is aware of that I missed?

As of right now the evidence against the brother is:
1. Jack's father *might* have information about a person implicated in the nuclear weapon problem.
2. The brother has said that he doesn't know where the father is, and Jack doesn't believe him.

Surely there's more than that, right? What have I missed?

I ovulated 5 days ago and my temp was lower when I ovulated than it is now, what could this mean? Before I ovulated my temp was around 97.7 to 97.8, the day before ovulation it was 98.13, the day of ovulation is was 98.42, then it droped to 98.08 then to 97.97 then up to 98.28 the down to 98.14 the up to 98.58. Hope someone can expalin this to me.......Thanks!!!
