First of all,
I was 11 when I started smoking and I finally quit at the age of 25. This is the age where you can usually stop without having any serious consequences with your health, unless you already have a health condition. The longer you smoke, the harder it is to quit. I think anyway. If you continue to smoke, from the age 11 on up to your adult hood, you up your chances for risk of heart attack, and cancers. Your skin ages quicker, your teeth start to yellow, you always smell bad. I started smoking at that age, to look older and cooler. Trust me, it's not worth it. Quit now, before you have the addiction that so many americans already have. We pay to kill ourselves. It's dumb when you stop and think about it. You're cool if you can say "No". Cause that means your stronger and smarter than the others at your age that keep smoking. Hope this helps. PLEASE QUIT NOW. It will only be harder to later.

He can develop so many problems throughout the years of his life. Also if he starts smoking at 11, more than likely he will continue to smoke until he is in the hospital dieing of lung cancer and other health complications

They become hooked on smoking, and suffer from all the health problems that go with it. And if they start at that young an age, they may move onto drinking or drugs at an early age too.

eventually some type of cancer (i.e. throat or lung). If it is not caught before it spreads you might have to have surgery. If it spreads too far you'll spend the rest of your life in chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Probably won't be able to work and will always have the chance of dieing early and having other problems.

Lung cancer and ultimately death. Smoking is so bad for you! Don't you watch the "Truth" commercials? Cigarettes have traces of rat poison and sionide, not to mention acetone in them! Acetone takes off nail polish, sionide is a poison and of course we all know what rat poison is! I mean come on!

actually the last person before me is 110% wrong.. they will get emphazema and cancers of sorts(not just lung cancer or throat cancer but also it opens up the chance of other cancers you wouldn't think of from smoking) but you are responsible for MAKING your son stop... as long as you don't purchase the cigarettes for him you are not legally responsible.. however get him into a nicotine assistance program to help him quit it is very important...

First of all, just ignore these rude comments. If you have not started, don't. If you have, stop. Death is the ultimate consequence of smoking. Don't roll the dice and think that you'll the one to cheat death by smoking as the odds are against you. Good luck to you.
