It's supposed to be two hours as it takes that long to go through one REM cycle, which is the restorative cycle of sleep.

i took a psychology class and i learned that its normal to feel sleepy in the afternoon at around 1 pm, that's part of the normal sleep cycle, if you take about an hour nap, you should feel great for the rest of the day

and no, its not because you just ate lunch and all your blood is going to your stomach to help you digest and takes blood away from the brain making you sleepy that's wrong

it depends on your body. i can take a little 20 minute cat nap and feel like a million bucks afterward. or sometimes i need more like an hour or so. depends.

I usually do well with about an hour. If I go much longer than that, I'm cranky.
