I tried to defrag my external harddrive, but stopped it at 13%. Now the PC creates a drive for it when I switch on, but I can't do anything else with it. When I try to open it, the PC tells me that the drive has not been formatted and asks whether I want to format it. I definitely don't! I have a great deal of work on there that I can't afford to lose! Please help!!

First came one internet site where I started an account. There came another internet store where I started and account. There came, even another site that when I go there, I want to CHARGE!!! Im a Computer Engineer by education. but my first (current) job is as a receptionist *** secretary. i have been at this job for 1.5 years. the IT manager recently gave me a choice of 2 great offers, but im very confused what to do. the first choice was to be his right-hand, where i get to assist him and implement all his innovative ideas for the department that no other dept is doing in the company. i'll handle database too plus learn cisco products and lots of new things from the manager.
second option is to go into IT pre-sales and i'll be one of the 3 people (yet to be taken into the company) under a Pre-Sales team leader.
im a bit shy-kinda person and i wud like to avoid any kind of group-interaction or presentations, etc.
i dont know what to choose. what is the most suitable (IT-related) title for the first choice & the most appropriate salary. please help. this is urgent. my mind tells me pre-sales is best for me as im a computer engineer but my heart tells me otherwise.

My husband and I are expecting a baby in July. One of his friends that he has known for at least 8 years is (in my opinion) a horrible person. He drinks every day, drives drunk all the time, he gets stoned all the time. He's 40 something and we're in our 20's. He just got fired from his delivery driver job because he wasn't responsible enough to show up. He actually celebrated his one year after getting a DUI by getting drunk and then driving home. He is a burden to society and i do not want a person like that around my new child, regardless of whether he drinks or gets stoned in front of the kid. Its the character of a person that thinks those actions are ok that i don't want around my kid. My husband just won't let go of the friendship. He is a nice person, he's never been mean to me, always polite, but a hippie stoner drunk none the less. What should i do?

I am in a committed relationship and the sex life is pretty good. Sometimes though, my girlfriend is tired or has a yeast infection so I go without sex for weeks at a time. I am worried that my boss has submitted my report to senior management and will take full credit for my ideas. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. John Gebhardt, of the 332nd Expeditionary Medical Group out of Balad Iraq cradles a young girl as they both sleep in the hospital. The girls entire family was executed by insurgents; the killers shot her in the head as well. The girl is receiving treatment at the U.S. Military Hosp in Balad, but she cries & moans often. According to nurse at the facility Gebhardt is the only one who can calm down the girl, so he has spent the last several nights holding her as they sleep in a chair.



This was sent to me as an email with a picture attached of the Chief Mstr Sgt & the little girl aslleep in a chair. The photo was taken by Airforce personnel. The picture would surely make you take a long pause and take a hard look at this mans humanity.

A teacher asked his class if anyone of them has eaten a Shitake Mushroom. All the Japanese students said no but then Ozzy, who was an Australian foreign exchange, reluctantly answered yes. Not meaning to be offensive, but being from Eastern Asia (Korea) I find it very annoying when Indian people say they are Asian, just because they are located near Asia it does not mean that they are Asian. If this was a reason then does that mean Russians are Asian since the country is near China?
