Adam and Eve never existed, that and religion in general is all a fairytale that manipulative people made up to control stupid gullible people. I mean, they even used to sell seats in heaven at one time.

Their story is a parable about attachment to the world and disobedience to God by eating the forbidden fruit. The Garden of Eden is also symbolic for a happy place, which is not suitable to mankind. Adam and Eve today may rush out of Eden before they are kicked out for being deprived of human freedom!
Religious study requires the using of rational sense, prayer, meditation and various spiritual practices. It cannot be understood as ordinary learning in worldly schools.

There is a theory that the apple is actually a euphemism for sex. Hence Eve being considered the hapless temptress.
However since theories on evolution have disproven the story altogether, it now boils down to a legend and like all legends, it can be presented any which way.
If I were Adam I would have to be tempted by something a little more exciting than a Granny Smith!

This is just my humble opinion. Being that the bible should hardly ever be taken literely and most often it is written in a metaphorical and vague format try this on for size.

Given that God told them NOT to eat from the Tree of Knowldege Eve was seduced by a Snake to eat and then was guilted into seduceing Adam to eat the same apple.

Humor me:

Let's say the Tree of Knowldge is a Metaphore for Sex. And let's say that the Snake is a Metaphore for Adams "member " finally lets say that The apple is a Metaphore for Eve's Vagina.

It could be deduced that Eve at looking apons Adams erect " member/ Snake " ( given the knowldege today that men's members can become erect without stimulation. ) could have sturred up sexual ideas. Leading her to then manipulate her " apple/ Vagina" ( fruit of my loins anyone? ) and finally seduce Adam to partake in her apple/Vagina. Leading to the Tree of Knowldege/Sex.

Far fetched perhaps. But have you ever cut an apple in halfvertically? Looks awfully familuar no? Now remember they hadn't had sex nor did they know of physical pleasure prior to being kided out Eden. In addtion this was the same time that God punshed Eve and her daughters by declaring that hence with every child that she bares would cause pain. So you tell me is that as far fetched is it sounds?
In addition, as of that point the only creature to creat man/life was God. So in essence they defied God and played his role. Before the first flood god was jealous and vengeful. Could he have taken this act as a slap in the face?

It is a Biblical myth (myth used in a positive sense) about the relationship between Man, The Earth and God. It has never been meant to have been taken literally and indeed an apple is never even mentioned in the text.

I believe they ate the fruit that was in the middle of the garden that was forbidden from them. My Bible do not specify the fruit.
