Can anyone tell me whether there is an independent body to which I can complain about an estate agent please? I am specifically concerned with blatant false advertising, based on the doctoring of photgraphs.

The oea is only for agents that are registered with them, this also goes for the naea
You need to take the evidence to the local trading standards and they will then prosecute if your complaint is upheld.
Good luck.

Goodness, there are lots! maximum are interior of sight, yet some are "national" - the main properly-enjoyed being Bairstow Eves, Connells and Dixons. yet beware, they often fee a greater physically powerful fee fee - as much as 3% (plus VAT) while the smaller, non-company agencies purely tend to fee a million% - 2% (all plus VAT) Edit: re Venus high quality - i theory it became purely regionally interior the Midlands that Bairstow Eves had that nickname!
