This would not be a close fight. Marciano hit way to hard and took a could take shots way harder than holyfield can throw. Holyfield would get knocked out early. I like holyfield but he is no rocky marciano. Also holyfield is no true heavywieght. He started out as a light heavyweight. Your other answers are saying rocky wasnt a heavyweight. I guess they dont know to much about boxing. Rocky was a heavyweight.

MARCIANO - W 49 (KO's 43) TF 49 - W pct 100% - KO 88% - wins over Louis, Walcott[2] Moore and Charles{2} - KO'ed by none - #14 ranked puncher - #12 ranked fighter
Retired undefeated as champion and as a fighter
One of the most common sense smart boxers ever. He stayed retired
It has been argued that Rocco was somewhat overrated. The 4 great fighters that he fought were over the hill.
HOLYFIELD - W 38 (KO's 25) TF 48 - W pct 79% - KO pct 52% - P. Thomas, Dokes, Moorer, Foreman, Qawi, Bowe, Holmes, Tyson[2] and Douglas - KO'ed by Bowe and Toney (Evander was 40) - #77 ranked puncher - #22 ranked fighter
Won 1988 Olympic Bronze medal
Good chin/heart/will. Like Ali and Holmes, he fought and defeated the great fighters of his day
Maybe I have been listening to Brad but I won't automatically pick Rocco. Can Holyfield go the distance with Rocco like Charles did but win? Can Rocco KO Evander in the late rounds like he did to Jersey Joe? "PICK 'EM".

Rocky beat such men as Archie Moore, Joe Louis, Ezzard Charles twice and Jersey Joe Walcott twice during his career. Rocky had a training routine unmatched by anyone. He had amazing endurance and stamina and was better than many think at rolling with punches and getting low in a crouch befor working his way in and landing devastating power punches with either hand that hurt wherever they landed. This is not fiction about the Rock's power, endurance and will to win which cannot be taught. Holyfield is one of my favorite fighters and is also very dedicated to training and getting ready for fights and beat Tyson by taking the fight to the bully! This fight would have a lot of action with Holyfield trading pretty even with Rocky for about 8 rounds with Rocky coming on stong and landing his power punches in round 11 ending a great fight. Rocky had superior punching power to any heavyweight ever with the exception to maybe George Foreman and in my opinion is very underrated because of his physical limitations. He was stronger and hit harder than just about anyone despite his size and should be given more respect than his is given. He was a tough son of a gun and a bad hombre just ask anyone that stepped in the ring with him.

I have always been a Holyfield fan, but Marciano would have won. I don’t like you can dispute Marciano’s perfect record. I think it would have been a heavy weight equivalent of Hagler vs Hearns. Marciano being Hagler.

Rocky wasn't a heavy weight. But I'd put my money on Holyfield.

Holyfield would outclass and destroy the way overrated Marciano, who was a good club fighter, at best.
