Normally you can burn an MPEG file to VCD even on 800MB because when burning on VCD, certain stuff is taken out (Such as data integrity checks) that allows CD's to store a maximum of 800MB. So I suggest just copying your friends Video CD file (Named either AVSEQ01.DAT or MUSIC01.dat or similar) and making a new VIDEO CD and putting that file in.

However, if your burning program still sayd that you do not have enough space to burn the data, then I suggest to user overburning. Overburning is enables usually on the drives settings (On your burning program) or it's preferences setting.

There are 900MB CDs found though, the only ones that I remember are made by Melody and are pretty expensive compared to normal CD-R's.

Well, even i m hearing it for the first btime thet the cd is showing 800 mb. Well, you can try compressing the data by using Winzip, compressor or something else. then try copying it. i suppose still it wont get copied on one cd. But atleast it will save half or much more of your other cd if you r ready to copy it in more than one cd. Depends on the compressor how much space it will take. try to do something with help of "Nero Smart Burn". May be it will help you. Good luck

One more thing . thanks for mailing me. Mr.Sweetboy

I mean it . Its normal writable cd which is 700 mb. And i was not talking about dvd. Give a look at the question(particularly improper details; also somthing that said"how to copy 800mb cd into 700mb cd") and see what will one feel that the person is asking ... The same i felt . Many a times its like people look at upper answers and then they state theirs.. i suppose the second answerer (you)didnt exactly do that.

NO ... all cd's are 700mb you need to change the format to a mpeg etc , or try copying it to your hard drive don't know what kind of software you have available but a simple way to do it (but it takes too long ) insert the disc open it with movie maker you can go as low as 100mb ,your screen resolution will decrease the lowest you go
hope this helps
