From another long time suffering Buffalo Bills fan,I have to agree with you, Scott Norwood's wide to the right will forever linger in my brain. However, (and this is how I choose to rationalize the outcome) that the K-Gun couldn't do anything against the Giants that day.
That loss and the 3 after is what made a truly great team, mediocre in the eyes of many.

i assume i'm previous college yet i do no longer think of that one participant wins or loses a sport. You win and lose as a collection. The QB's get too lots compliment in a win and too lots blame whilst they lose. All it takes is a neglected block by ability of an offensive lineman or a incorrect direction run by ability of a receiver to make the QB look undesirable. Manning and Romo play at the back of very solid offensive lines. Dallas in particular has in all hazard the terrific Individuel skills of any group interior the NFL, yet together they do no longer play as a collection. Peyton has gained a SB whilst Romo has had a tricky time even getting his group to the playoffs. i actually do no longer believe that any expert soccer participant "chokes" some can guard the rigidity greater powerful than others. remember on the top of the season their would be purely a million group status. Does that make all the dropping QB's chokers?

Peyton Manning. No titles at Tennessee. He leaves, they win. Colts have a perfect record til near end of season. That's awesome. They lose their first, then lose again in the playoffs. End of season. Now, here's his chance. If he can't beat Rex Grossman, he retains the title. Patrick Ewing held the title years before that. It was taken from him when he retired by Phil Mickelson. Phil had that title stripped when he finally won the Masters. Bill Cowher was always a runner-up for the title, until they too, finally won. Other notables were Fran Tarkenton (Vikings) and Jim Kelly (Bills)...sorry. The most improved choke artist (meaning he's getting better at choking) is my QB Michael Vick. What a moron!

I have to agree with you. Scott Norwood had the chance to make the Bills a Champ in probably the closet of their Super Bowl appearances but blew it "wide right". I remember seeing Jim Kellys face as it sailed away. He was heartbroken. Oh well.

The golfer Sergio Garcia is a bit of a serial choker when it comes to majors - he's often in contention on the final days play but ends up finishing way down the rankings. No bottle! Or you could also name a whole long list of English footballers who have missed crucial penalties in World Cup/Euro Championship penalty shoot-outs.

Peyton Manning--Feb. 4. I hate to say it too, and I hope I'm wrong, but I've got a bad feeling about this.
The Bears are the worst.
