THE QUESTION:
Rhonda and Sandra are stuffing envelopes to raise funds for a school trip. if rhonda did the whole job herself, it would take her 5hours. If sandra worked on her own it would take her 4 hours. How long does it take both of them working together and starting at the same time, to do the job?

I am an Australian, but i am pretty disgusted with Australia Day, how can people celebrate the massacring of Aboribigines and the taking of their land based on the principle of terra nullius. Because that is what it is about. It is celebrating the day, when Captain Cook landed on Australia dooming the Aborigines, even to this day, Aborigines do not have equal rights along with the rest of the "normal Australians". Even despite the massacring, unfair treatment and prejudice, there was still the arrival of disease, within weeks of European arrival, many Aborigines died from the diseases that the Europeans had brough over from Europe including chickenpox, smallpox, influenza and measles. Nothing was done for the Aborigines since 40 years ago (2007-1967), 1967 as in the 1967 referendum, the changing of section 51 and 127 of the Australian Constitution

She is 34 & a binge drinker. Her problems are mainly of her own making.Every time I try to help, she wont listen to advice. No matter what I say, I am always wrong! She twists events to suit her! She lies about me to my grand-children & their social workers, who now believe every word she says! I don't like the way she keeps accusing & blaming me & my grand-child of things we haven't done! i took my daughter to the doctors today as she was unwell and the doctor was very surprised to find two tonsils on her right side both swollen with puss the lefted side a little swollen

I just finished jury duty on a burglary and theft case. Basically, the defendant borrowed her cousin's car to gain access to a gated community. We found the defendant guilty and it seamed to be an easy decision for most of us. Our main point of contention was whether she was the perp or aided and abetted the crime(s).

The thing that kind of bothers me was the defense's case was mainly "I don't have the burden to prove anything". Their only witness was the defendant and they presented nothing to back up her story or reestablish her credibility after she lied and gave inconsistent accounts. The defense attorney just mentioned on several occasions that the burden was on the prosecution.

Is that a common defense & is common for a case that weak to be brought to trial. Could the defense simply been relying on the unpredictability of juries?

I realize the burden of proof is on the prosecution, I just would have expected something from the defense.

i know theres nothing wrong with being a vegatarian but my friend insists he is a vegatarian but he will eat boil in the bag beef!!! and mcdonalds milkshakes which have cow fat in thenm and wont listen when i tell him thats not what vegatarians do how do i explain it to him??!?!!?!?!!???

I was on 200 mg for irregular bleeding. I was supposed to get a heavier period AFTER the 10 days I took it but I only bled slightly heavier while taking it then nothing happened. Has anybody else had this problem or should I worry?
