Did brilliant Serbian scientist Nikola Tesla, the man who gave the world alternating current, really invent a "death ray" that could knock planes out of the air? Was this an early version of an "EMP" weapon, that would stop machines by creating an electromagnetic pulse? Or was it just one of those "urban legends" like crocodiles in the NYC sewers?

My name is Yasmin, and when people sya it most of the time they say Yaz/ mean instead of Yaz/min. Why does it really matter if you have the e at the end or not. (I dont apparently) Why is the pronucation different if you add a z instead of a s? Why do people think my name is Yaz/mean instead of prounuced as its looks?

I have finally decided to quit smoking on Monday. I have bought my patches, boiled sweets and a good book etc. I am absolutely sh1tting myself as I have never tried to quit before, but I know I need to do this.

Any tips or suggestions for helping me get over the worst habbit ever!

ive been taking this pill since i was coming up 16, before i took it i was a size 8 in clothes, but i noticed that throughout the years i am now 23 now ive started putting on weight, i eat healthy and exerise but the weight still comes on, i decided to come off this pill about 2 weeks ago. since i have not taken this pill ive been losing weight, ive lost over a stone and it keeps dropping off. does anyone know the reson for this, or has taken this pill and has it happened to them. i read a story on the net that a woman was trying ther hardest to lose a couple of pounds but they wouldnt come off. she forgot to take the pill she lost the pounds and then when she went back on the pill she put the pounds back on.

I use Dr. Browns and they are getting these hard white bumps inside that won't come off. I wash them right after my baby is done feeding, but they still show up....what are they and how di i get rid of them?

On TV the colts coach thanked the Lord for his teams win. I venture to say that within one mile of this game there was a child being abused, a person was dying of cancer, a crime victim being hurt. I'm sure many of these people were asking the Lord for help but help did not come because the Lord was at the ball game and was too busy to help them.

We have an 8 year old son who is Autistic, but pretty verbal and doesn't have too many bad behaviors. Right now, he is in a 3rd grade Autism program with 6 other Autistic kids who are all different, and at different levels. He also goes to regular ed for specials, social studies, and science. I think problems ly in the fact that although I love his teacher in the center program, he only is with her maybe an hour a day. Then, since he can't take his specials with the other Autistic kids becuase he takes them with regular ed, when they are at theirs, he is in a "team" room with the program leader working on stuff. But I think, althought I'm not in there, that there is not a lot going on. Also, when he is doing work, other children use this room for timeouts and play time, which is very distracting for him.

I guess I am wondereing if I should get him in a cross categorical classroom with kids with different disabilities and less transitions or regular ed all day. Your thoughts..

Okay i am trying to enter college and do online classes but i can't pay for it like for myself. Does anyone know of a good and reliable scholarship, grant, or student loan site that i can apply for at least 6400.00 for college. If anyone can help please. Also does anyone know of any good but not to expensive college's i can apply to that offers online classes for Accounting. I really need and want to start college as i have put it off for the last 2 years. Now i am really read and willing to go but i have to do the online classes as i work 2 jobs and i don't have the time to actually go to class. But i do have the time on the computer. PLEASE HELP ASAP!
