Thai people prefer Thai products. It's highly unlikely that there's anything in the US that Thais would prefer over their own products with the exception of Levi jeans (in small sizes). Levis would probably be cheaper even with your profit than they cost in Thailand. There are many American products already available in Thailand. On the other hand, many US products would be appealing to ex-pats that live in Thailand. You may want to put up a message on a website that ex-pats would visit and ask for orders. You would probably have to include your profit percentage in the message to get a response, and then give the name of your hotel in Thailand when you answer their inquiry. Of course, it's illegal for you as a tourist to bring in products for sale in Thailand.

Do they still make anything in the USA? - I used to sell american indian jewelry which I discovered they were making over here too.. - good thought - back to the drawing board.. however - - since you have all that extra weight allowance - you can go to your friends and thrift stores and get a load of 2nd hand clothing, mostly childrens is nice - and then give it away in the slums and villages to poor people - - - you will get back alot of good will and good feeling - - and then you will walk around feeling better about yourself which will attract good things to you.. - so much for so little effort - - good luck

US cash money is bought but it is illegal. you'd have better chances selling to the tourists but what do they want from an american they came to escape you. If you could make something new to the thai people using local materials it may be slightly profitable, like devilsticks or something but the price would have to be low for kids. Or some street entertainment, but this is taken to a whole new level in some places where you need monkeys or acrobats to get a crowd.

Nothing much really. Imported items are subjected to heavy taxation that they become expensive for the Thais. However, I believe they have more things for you to buy and bring back to sell in US instead.

simple and short answer.

NOTHING!

Simply in Thailand you can get things cheaper - some fake some not. So why would they want to buy overpriced stuff from Americans?
