I want to buy a flat iron and have been researching them for a while. I think I've settled on with a Sedu or a CHI, but am not sure about the size. Anyone have any recommendations on size? Does it matter?

Also, if anyone has a hair product they like to use when they straighten their hair - I'd love to here about it.

I have very long - medium thick hair.

I'm going to a prom that's not at my school; I don't want to get a dress that's going to be huge and stuff because I don't want to have anyone thinking I'm trying to come to their school and out do them or anything, but I want something floorlength. first prom...I need help!!! also not something too expensive, I only work at a pizza shop. How can a person not burn out from all the stress of daily life...I want to go into the medical field possibly (Nursing/Pre-Medical) or the Computer Science field, but I don't want to burn out from all the stress that goes along with it. Help or suggestions?

any advice will be appreciated, this is a serious case. im trying to help my neighbor. her husband cheated on her and when she found out through his conversation with the other one, he beat her 6month pregnant wife and dragged her out of his office. she didnt report because she is afraid, he has posession of weapon. she put a restraining order a week later and police took him out of the house, he's staying at his parents house. she changed the locks but still scared. she took video of the bruises that he gave her but i think she will need more evidence than that, and he wants custody of their 7 year old. she needs to find evidence that he was cheating on her, he also cut the phone service but she'll try to ask for last month's bill. he closed all the bank accounts, and she's living out of credit cards only and the defendant's (husband) mother found a lawyer for her and is paying for it but that is too fishy. she's goign to state attorneys next week and find her own attorney.

I have shoulder length razor cut layers, and naturally curly hair. I cant permantly straighten it because I color my hair. I a.ways,always flat iron my hair. I have a chi flat iron but it takes such a long time to straighten.My hair is fine. I have heard of the maxiglide....Does it work as well as the chi? Does it cut the straightening time? Do you like the maxiglide?

I want to build my first computer to edit and burn home family pictures and vhs and 8mm tapes. My problem, my ADS Pyro A/V Link (converts analog to digital) that I have requires firewire.

The motherboard I want to purchase does not have firewire, it has USB 2.0.

Is it advisable to buy and install a PCI card in order to have the firewire capability or would you select another mobo that already has firewire?

My Boyfriend Goes to school in North Carolina and I live in CT so the only time we get to see each other is on his break and then 75% of that time he is working.
