I have shoulder length razor cut layers, and naturally curly hair. I cant permantly straighten it because I color my hair. I a.ways,always flat iron my hair. I have a chi flat iron but it takes such a long time to straighten.My hair is fine. I have heard of the maxiglide....Does it work as well as the chi? Does it cut the straightening time? Do you like the maxiglide?

i just got a maxiglide for chirstmas and i love it =] it works really well. i did not have chil but i did have a regular ceramic straightner, and let me tell u the maxiglide works much faster. plus it has steam burst technology which is supposed to be less damaging on your hair

I think you should definitely stick with CHI or go get it done professionally. Beauty takes time.The maxiglide is really a disaster and a waste of money. I bought one two years ago and used it not really realizing that it was pulling out my hair because of the combs inside. It's too big and gets extremely hot. You should really look up the product(maxiglide) and see what people really have to say about it because the reviews really aren't good.
