I've had a crush on this guy for a year and well I never told him that. We talk from time to time. Now that he's got a girlfriend i'm trying to forget about him. Any ideas?

I have always wanted to join the navy. I know their web site in and out, researched possibilities, and I even have an account. I looked at the sea cadets and really liked what I saw. My father keeps saying that I don't know what Im doing even though I researched the Navy since I was 12 years old and then says stuff like they won't pay for my college even though they at least pay for an associates degree and he acts like he knows what he is saying even though he has no raw proof and is thinking of the drafts during the 70s. I really want to join sea cadets which if you join you have no obligation to join the navy. How do I confront them or should I just ask my mom alone because she is more reasonable with these things.

e.g.1 - a water bills 4th quarter statement spans 2005 / 2006. You have no idea what it cost during a given year, only by quarter.

e.g.2 - a credit card statement spans 2 years as well, but you do know when the expense incurred. For those expeneses incurred in late December and paid in early January, do they become a 2005 or 2006 expense?

How do I handle expense taxes in each case?

my dog had puppies and they are two and a half weeks old. their mother isnt feeding them as much and wont sit down with them to feed them. is she trying to ween them? should we try to feed them some puppy chow with water in it? their teeth are starting to come through. im really worried they arent getting enough food so can someone pleeeeeaaaassssseee help me ASAP????

also if jupiters moon has about the same mass as the moon and orbits jupiter at about the same distance that the moon orbits the earth (center to center). then why does it take only 1.8 days to orbit jupiter but our moon take 27.3 days to orbit the earth?

I have a question here? my fundy brethren....Once asked to explain origins without God, u accuses theists of appealing to the Gaps. Unfortunately this is circular logic which is based on presumption of atheism being true. Atheists could be accused of appealing to the Gaps,if there's God, over time our knowledge of Him will increase, and so theism will be once proven to be true. In this scenario all the attempts to disprove, or show that God is not needed, would be labeled as appealing to the Gaps in your knowledge of God. Ofcourse atheists will appeal to the trend,reality is increasingly explained by natural mechanisms. But is it? And which trend we will choose, life is much more complex than it was thought,what if this complexity is machine-like, not just any complexity? Sure science is great tool to explain reality, but only when it empirical. Historical sciences are much more ambigious. If God was once used to explain all gaps in knowledge, it it was obviously a mistake.Sometimes evolutionary biology is asked to explain how love for music evolved for example. This is somewhat unfair question to ask from biologists. Or is it?
