Why would you throw them away??..There are many families in need of clothes even if they are old...Take them to a homeless shelter or church.

If they are not in good condition to donate, use them as rags around the house. You will not only save money on paper towels but also do a great service to the environment.
Also, if there is some nice fabric that you dont want to use as rags, can you make something small out of it - like curtains or table cloth, or perhaps take it to a tailor and make baby clothes - you can donate those then :)

The best way to recycle your clothes is at Plato's Closet. Not usre of your area but there may be one near you. They take gently used clothes with namebrands. They accept all types of clothes and sizes. They pay you for them or give store credits. I found my wedding dress at one!

Make a quilt. Save the buttons etc and throw 'em in a jar and you have a folksy piece of art. Or ship them to New Orleans thru a church for the folks who have NONE. Be blessed.

Dont just take them to goodwill or send them if u dont have a goodwill,or that them somewhere people give u money for ur old clothes

You just cut them up and turn them into something else. You can use the fabric from the old clothes and make a million things!

Alot of churches would love to have your recycled clothes i know mine would churches like to help other families that need it!

sometimes if the clothes I don't want anymore might be something a friend or family member wants, I give it to them and let them do whatever they want with it.
Or give them to the church where it'll be given to those in need.
If the clothes are in bad shape like stained, raggy looking... just trash them.
