My boyfriend and I are in college. We've been together for almost a year and talk about marriage all the time.

He talked to the military recruiter today (he told me he would yesterday).. and he said that he now may go into it. He'll be able to get any kind of job and they'll pay for school. He would be gone for the whole summer.. and next summer. It's like he poured all this to me at once. We would've had a heartfelt talk... but my brother and his friend were there. So I couldn't say anything. He said he's gonna talk to his dad. He used to be in the military. Basically, my boyfriend is thinking about joining just to pay for college.

My heart is breaking. I'm about to cry. I don't think it really hit me yet... I won't be seeing him on weekends and summers anymore. I don't know. And the whole thing about a chance of him dying? My God... I couldn't handle that.

Someone please help me feel better. What is it like in the military? And what is it like for their significant others?

What could cause a 43 yr old man 2 experience headaches,body shakes & alot of dark blood in toilet bowl & bms?
I am a 43 yr old white/mexican male and recently I've been having severe throbbing painful headaches,and I've been experiencing uncontrollable tremors or body shakes and for the last two days, when I've used the restroom, the toilet bowl has been filled with quite a bit of dark red blood. Does anyone know what could be causing these types of syndrome's? Anyone have any idea what my diagnosis might be? Or any preventitive measures I could take? I have lived a rough, fast, hard life and I'm presently unemployed with no medical insurance. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, because this is really getting scary. Thank you.

I'm a junior in highschool
our GPA runs on a 5.0 scale. First semster (which we jsut completed) i didnt too well. My unweighted GPA for the first semsterd turned out to be a 3.63. However if i do really good next semster and raise my gpa...do you think colleges will take that into consideration?

Let me first start off by saying: I'm Confused!!

There's a guy I met not too long ago at my church who I befriended. One Sunday, we were designated as the primary organizers of the annual "Nursing Home Visit" program [Hence, this is how he got my number]

To make a long story short, any time we talk, we can go on from as little as 30 minutes to hours--just talking. In fact, recently we were both coming from a church program and happened to be getting on the same bus ----and we BOTH missed our bus stops because we were so focused on our conversation with one another. Any time we talk, it just -flows.

He's not drop-dead gorgeous or something out of a magazine, but he's certainly Not ugly.

Any advice?

I am 42 wks pregnant and i have tried everything to induce labor, I MEAN EVERYTHING!!! i am not dialated ANY!!! my doctor is going to set a inducement date and i really want to go into labor on my own... does anybody know of anything i can do??!?!... i have tried sex, walking, nipple stimulation, and resting alot and nothing seems to work!! i dont want to try castrol oil b/c i heard it was dangerous... somebody please help me!!!

Whenever i drink coffee or pepsi or w/e i feel really sick after. Like maybe about an hour after and i just want to lay down, i feel dizzy, weak, light headed,weird very weird and sometimes i think im gonna die it feels so horrible. I went to my doctor and he doesnt know he told me to get blood tests done and i did and everything came back fine..So im here asking,wondering, if anyone ever felt this way too or if anyone knows why i would feel so horrible?? any help would b awesome. Oh yeah so i quit drinking coffee and pepsi i kinda think it has to do with caffeine..or even energry drinks make me feel that way, i think they have caffeine too,idk mmhmm. idk if it really has to do anything with caffeinr though..idk plz anyone help¿i

I just find so many of the questions so TRITE and uninformed that I ignore them. Do any of you actually READ answers and evaluate the information or are your minds so closed that you can not accept input to validate or deny/change your opinions? It seems to me that most of you have NO concept of human rights, world stability or the environmental/economic issues involved; it is just COOL to be anti-war. It seems that this whole WAR screws up YOUR LIFE of ENTITLEMENT (15-35) and you are just not used to having disruption in your life or being told how wonderful that you are. How would you deal with gas at $10 a gallon, massive UV because some third world country rattled their sword with a NUKE TEST? With gas a $10 a gal you would NOT be allowed to drive; maybe a bike? Your generation SCARES me to DEATH for the sake of my granddaughters. THINK AND LEARN, because is IS NOT ALL about YOU as you have been taught. Think independantly and make a DIFFERENCE. I'm a 24 year old and my dad's drunk on the night after work. He's been asking questions about me & my boyfriend,"when your boyfriend's going visit me & your mom here, come ask him to come & drink with me?" I was telling him that my bf have 2 jobs & is going to school for the english, (he's Mexican & learning english). My dad doesn't even know him & met him yet. They've talked on the phone when I was in the hospital on Jan. 17th. told my dad that my bf was trying to reach me to my cell & i didn't answer, told my dad that he wanted to visit me in the hospital but dont know where! my bf wanted to know I'm ok, he told supervisors where is the hospital, but dont know.he's been there for me,even not in person,but calling me i'm ok! My dad said 'tell him bulls**t!' & maybe he don't love u! I told him he does,but I kept telling my dad to give my bf time & patience! he needs to know my bf have 2 jobs & need his education.he told me get another boyfriend.my dad wasnt like this not drunk.
