we know that as we provide heat (infra red radiations) to any thing light begins to emit from it.first appears red followed by orange n yellow i.e. as we increase the temperature the wavelength of visible light emitted from it decreases.
we are told that the highest temperature in a candle flame is at the tip so how is it so that the core of the candle is blue(of lower wavelength) and the tip red
if i am anywhere wrong in my concept i m sorry for it

I have been what appears to be somewhat hindering my 9 mth old son's progress in pulling up. He can stand when I stand him up and cruise with some assistance. He can't pull to stand yet, I think because he crawls to me and I just stand him up for him. I am scared he will fall and smash his head, so I stay with him while he stands and brace him, so he basically assumes there will always be a safety net of my arms.

What if he fell from standing and hit his head? Would it be enough to give him a concussion or something?

My 4 year old son has trouble gaining weight no matter what foods or nutritional drinks I give him. There is only so much of his favorite foods I can give him. He is a picky eater at times so it is hard to get him to eat what he should. I just don't know what to give my son to eat any more. He loves any pasta especially with sauce or grated cheese. I don't know what other meats to give him as he isn't a big meat eater other than hot dogs or chicken nuggets or tacos. any other choices or suggestions?

Yes, this is a politics and government question! Many, if not all, recent first ladies have had their own "issue agenda," such as Lady Bird Johnson with beautifying America and Nancy Reagan with Just Say No to drugs. Which was your favorite? Who had the most positive effect on society? I'm interested to hear if anyone may have had a different opinion of a first lady than of her husband.

My husband and I love our cat dearly as everyone who attended our wedding knows ... so instead of favors, we put cards on the table saying in lieu of flowers, we have put money aside in your name to have our cat cloned.

Most guests were in an uproar at the wedding, but I thought it would pass and they would get over it.

I think they may be upset because they have a pretty good idea that we are going to put the money from the wedding towards cloning our cat.

But it is our money, and we should be able to do what we want with it, right? I'm really hurt that most people won't even talk to us!

We think it's a debatable issue, but our decision as to how to use the money.

What is your opinion?

His manager is trying to screw him over, he told me not to tell my parents because my parents know the manager, but they are not on the best terms with him anyway,told him I cant promise that and they might be able to help, he stupsed and then told me anyway, I was angry and concern, we talked about it, and suggested some angles, then we took a break from the topic then later, asked him if he decided what he was gonna do, he started snapping at me and telling me he doesnt want to talk ,I said go and sleep cause you getting all agitated, the next day, I called him, first of all he sounded like he was expecting someone else, I asked him if he was ok, and what he was gonna do at work, he snapped again and said he didnt want to talk about it, then I told him I told my parents and they had great advice, then he went silent, I ask if he was mad he said yes, then he said he want to go, and I put down, and gave him some space, 3 days now, havent heard from him, my mom says he is being immature

My 17 month old daughter has been waking up around 4am everyday for weeks. I've tried cuddling her, I've gotten her a drink of water, and lately, I've been just ignoring her and letting her cry it out. She cried (mosty whined) for about 2 hours this morning and I'm at my wits end! I don't know what to do! Now she's tired and throwing tantrums because she's not sleeping well... any suggestions as to why this is happening or what I can do to get her to sleep through the night. I have bought put option on a stock(ACC) first time. I am using ICICI web trade. I do not have shares in my demat account. To exercise option(if it is less than strike price), Do i need to buy shares and then exercise(sell) it or i dont need to do anything and money will be credited to my bank when option expires.
