Hey people,
Im thinking of buying a car from this person. Its a ford escort 1.6 LX. It is a 1995 N Reg.

It has done 85,000 miles, Its just had its MOT done for a year. The owner has all its service and MOT history, its had a new exhaust, tyres, clutch and brakes. It is a petrol car with FSH, central locking and power steering. The owner is selling it for £995.

Also, has anyone ever owned a ford escort and how reliable are they? Do they break down alot? Everyone please share your thoughts.Is this a good value for money and what parts are likely to fail after 85,000 miles?

I'am a chemical engineer entering software. I came to software because in software I can be more creative, logical and analytical. But the software field is huge which bewilders me. I have done courses in Java, HTML, .NET, C#, VB, SQL etc. What I miss is a guide by which I can go by. Since everyone is recommending that the best way to learn programming is by actually writing the code, I would like to know how to practice.

A Pepsi salesman goes out into the jungles far, far away and is gone for a long time. The office back home starts getting worried about him, so they send out a big search party looking for him. They trek around for a couple of days, and eventually find a trail of Pepsi cans. They ask one of the natives in the village if he had seen the guy who had all these cans. "Oh, yes, we ate him."

I was in a relationship with a gal for 4 years, that is a large portion of my life, im only 22....

Im finding that sometimes i have to give things a miss, with me and my EX mutual friends, as i don't want to speak/see to my EX, is this normal, or do most people get on with their EX's.....???

I have split with my ex as he is evil and nasty! we have a 1 yr old baby together. my ex reckons he can see the baby all the time and even take him abroad (Which i am scared of happening as he is turkish and has told me he can keep the baby out there as the english police cant touch anyone in the country) what are my rights to stop him from taking him anywhere abroad and what vistation rights is he allowed to a minimum!!!

Yes I do agree I need help. lol.But I thought I loved my Ex still and I was so gonna brake up with this dude 4 my ex. Then I decided that my current dude was way better. And I actually love him. After I figured that out I stopped. And his room mate... well he's black (so is my ex) and I got a weakness for black guys. Now I know I love him but is it really that bad?
