i play trumpet. been playin trumpet for 4 years and i am good at it enough to play 1st trumpet music. but i play quiet and i cant play loud. and when i play it, it doesnt sound like other trumpets. its a b flat trumpet by bach (TR300) and it plays good.

My husband and i just got marrried in oct so my question is should we file together or seperatly last year when we filed i got almost all of my money back and he didnt his return sucked because he is older and dosnet make that much money..we both make pretty close to the same salary so if we file together will that make my return less we both claimed 0 on our w-4 forms and can he claim head of the household or do you have to have kids to do that!

Also, I have a contract w/ my employer for a 4-day 32 hr work week w/ 7 paid holidays a year. I was just told that in order to get my holidays paid, I would have to work on my usual day-off on the week before and the week after the holiday. Same was applied to our hourly employees. Is that legal? Where should I go to obtain more information about this issue?

I live 30 miles east of Seattle in an area that is frequently without power. Up until this year the outages were less than 48 hours but this year we have had repeated outages, one of which lasted 6 days after a stronger than usual windstorm. I had to scramble to find somewhere else to be. I lost several days of work, all the food in my refridgerator and freezer. At what point does it make sense to just install a standby generator?

how do i decrease the screen brightness of a laptop? I know about the Fn key, but it only goes down to a certain point of ligt and dark. i want to know if there is a program or ways to make it go darker than what it lets you.
