I'm in college and taking a course called Projects 3in1. For each project that I do, I need to incorportate math, communications, and computers. I can do the project on any topic, and do anything that I wanted to do. It's tough having such a wide range to choose from. My previous project was Career exploration:compare and contrast between two environmental field careers, quite boring to do, but I got a 90%. I want to do something fun. I really want to create a mirror with colored glass around the edges. Something similar to the link I provided. I'm just wondering if it's too highschoolish? I have to pass in the project proposal to my instructor tomorrow. I'm just wondering if this is a stupid idea for a project, or should I do something else? I'd appreciate it if you could give me some ideas for a project. Thanks.

My picks: First, Texas. Second (by a longshot, but I still love it,) North Carolina.

Texas: some of the friendliest people anywhere; huge, thriving cities (D/FW, Austin, San Antonio, Houston,) great job market, eclecticism in Austin, history in San Antonio and Ft. Worth, beaches, mountains, prairies, deserts, corn nuggets, Houston Astros, a great state! And the women...wow!

North Carolina: Away from the yankee enclaves (Fayetteville, Raleigh, and Charlotte,) it's still a pretty friendly state. There is a lot to do--NASCAR, Asheville, the Biltmore, Outer Banks, hiking, Smoky Mountains, etc. The prettiest of the three states!

Kentucky, while beautiful, is no hotbed of economic growth and progessive thinking. The politicians have helped to prohibit growth and development. People are, by and large, guarded and frankly hateful (especially Louisville); small towns are very sheltered and closed off to "the outside." I'm a native who has NEVER felt comfortable or at home there.

The background song on the new UPS commercial (where a guy is writing on a white board about international shipping or something) is "Such Great Heights," by The Postal Service. I'm assuming that whover picked the music for the commercial thought it was pretty funny. I was just wondering if anyone else finds it as funny as I do. i couldnt figure out why ive been so sad. i couldnt figure out what was it that was keeping us from getting along. well now i know. he isnt there for me emotionally. i love him very much. ive dated him for 2 yrs. i dont know what to do. plz help. ive tried talking to him and he doesnt for some reason see the problem. i hate to break up with him. what do i do. hes 43 and im 37. i feel alone at times. he showed me several times in different situations that he doesnt care what i think or how it effects me. so how does a person deal with something like that?

Okay before i continue let me say this. I dont care for people how this is bad and so on.

Now this is a 'hypothetical' situation:
Lets say my friend, Bob Finkle, went online to see the status of his Financial aid. Upon putting in his SS number, he discovers he is ALSO enrolled into a top 10 university. According to this, this SS is also enrolled into a university he would like to go to. He did a student search on the universities website, and his name didnt show up. This means some one else is just using his SS number.

Now this is ID theft. BUt 'Bob' has a better idea. Instead of calling the school and informing them of this error, would there be any way that Bob could use this to his advantage to getting in?

Since his SS is already in the system, would there be any way to systematically change all the info to his own, so he is now enrolled, or any other ways to use this 'unfortuneate' event to his liking?

Remeber, i dont neeed to hear your complaints. THis is ummmm hypothetical.

Does anyone out there know of a good writing software for editing? Someone mention "white smoke" but I am not familiar with it. I need software that is easy to use and can do more than spellcheck and offer a thesaurus. I'm looking for software that can correct poor sentence structure and advance punctuation if needed.
