I am planning to buy an MP3 player, my problem is I don't want to buy an iPod ( it's way over priced). Is there any alternatives that are just as good as the iPod, not over $200CDN?

I just got a new MacBook. A large picture frame fell on top of it and now the 13" lcd screen needs to be replaced! I took it to the Apple store and they said it would cost me around $1,000 to fix! Almost the price of the computer itself. Should I get it fixed somewhere else besides the "authorized" apple repair places? I'm so upset. :(

Every year I usually arrive at her home in the mornings to exchange gifts, last year I gave her my gift, but she didn't have mine. She claims she has it- last weekend I was going to go over again for the exchange(per her request), but she then said she was too busy.Till this day- she would talk about exchanging the gift- but now I think it's a little silly considering it's been too long. I personally think she never got me a present. Am I wrong? What do you think is the case? Should I go over to her house again? Or have her come to mine since I'd made so many attempts. Should I call it quit or take the gift if she really has it? Sorry so many questions- she'd never done this to me before. Thanks.

I was wondering if anyone knows. I know government offices and the post office are closed, but sometimes Fedex delivers when the post office doesn't. I couldn't find anything on their website about it.

I like to watch horror movies and anything where ppl die. I laugh when people die in the movies. One time I was smiling when my friend was choking. I always smile when I see ppl bleeding. Does this mean I am crazy or want to be a killer?

I'm an American, but I've studied English history, so I'm not completely ignorant of past struggles and wars. If Scotland becomes independent, will it control its own foreign affairs, also? Will it be a monarchy? I know Scotland has its own Parliament and thought they participated in the U.K. Parliament, also.

My fiance and I have been engaged for two years, we have a baby girl and are spending most if not all of our money on bills & our daughter....

We do not have the luxury of having anyone else pay or even helping out with the wedding costs. I already have my gown and we already have our rings.

We have decided that we are gonna elope and just have a small special intimate wedding between the two of us. We live less than an hour outside of new orleans and assume that is where we will wind up, but does anyone have any other places in mind we could go for super cheap, like under $800.00???

I'm looking to buy the 2GB silver iPod Nano...but I don't feel like spending $149 on it. It's not that I can't afford it, it's just that I don't feel like spending $149. Do you think the price will go down soon?

For one thing, the cartoon was made and based in the 60s. there were a lot of people experimenting with drugs at the time.

Here are other reasons:

Shaggy and Scooby (a weedhead for a dog), were ALWAYS hungry. people who smoke weed (like i do) eat a lot. i mean, look at it this way: only a pothead would eat a chocolate covered eggplant sandwitch (one of shaggy's favorites. i wouldnt even eat that.)

VELMA had to use LSD at least once, because anytime she took off her glasses, she would think the bad guys were one of her friends. those must have been LSD flashbacks.

DAFNEY and FRED may not have used drugs, but they sure were alone together a lot! Fred would always say, "Shaggy! Velma! Scooby! You three go find clues together while me and Dafney search!"

I have been usin GHD's for the past year every day. My hair is really damaged so I have decided to stop using them as I know that otherwise I will start losing my hair! Can anyone recommend any special shampoos or anything which can help keep hair straight without irons?
