lol - Adam and Eve made a metaphorical choice to use this existence for learning and education rather than idle pleasure. You made the decision to become human before you were born - and you will remain so until the end of this journey, and then you will return home, pure as Ivory soap.
Peace!

Adam and Eve didn't become human when they ate the fruit. They were already human, But they hadn't sinned before, and they had no knowledge of sin, thus the tree of knowledge of good and evil. we are all born sinful, with a knowledge of sin. God put the tree in the middle of the garden as a test, that tree was the only thing in the garden that Satan, the serpent, had access to. God wouldn't banish Satan from the garden as he was allowing Satan to try to prove his theorys that Gods way was unjust and his law couldn't be kept. God let Adam and Eve make the choice to follow Him or Satan just as he lets us make that choice today, each and every one of us decides who we are going to side with. After eating of the fruit, they knew what they had done was evil, and they repented and followed God after that. Jesus came to this world and lived a pure life to prove that it was possible to keep Gods law. If we give our lives over to God he makes us new, that is the only way to become pure
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away: behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17

Yes. Depending on the translation, Adam and Eve either ate an apple, a pomegranate, or a quince. As long as you stay away from these 3 fruits (just to be safe, you must not eat all three of them!) then you will be as pure as newly fallen snow forever.

Adam and Eve were a myth. A parable. They did not exist but were symbolic of the first humans. In the bible story, they were always human. They did not eat fruit. They had sex and were banished from paradise (separated from God) and had to work in the real world to survive. Again, this did not actually happen, but is a story rich with symbolism. Don't be naïve.

1. Adam and Eve didn't eat fruit to become human; they were already human. They disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit. That brought in sin, not humanity.
2. Not eating, nor anything else humans do themselves, can purify you. That's why God sent his son Jesus to pay for our sins so that we could reunite in relationship with God.
3. Anorexia, bulimia, or any other eating disorder is more related to the forbidden fruit than purity. You don't have to feel shame in asking for help. The danger is in not asking.
God bless you,

Before Eve ate from the "Tree of knowledge, of what is right, or wrong", there was no such thing as sin. There was no impurity, disease, or corruption when God created Adam and Eve. They sinned by eating the forbidden fruit, and death and disease came to humans.

Taking the Biblical story as metaphor, no, you can't "un-eat" what you have eaten. (it must have been written before bulimia was popular).
Taking it as literal truth, the answer's still no: Adam and Eve were allowed to eat all the fruit they wanted. It was only fruit from one tree they were forbidden to eat. Since none of the fruit you are eating today comes from that tree, go ahead and enjoy it guilt-free!

not eating would free your body of its preoccupation with the digestive process and insted focus its attention on your hunger, malnutrition and eventually dying. I don't think it is a path to purity. It makes more sense to put in your body only what it needs for fuel, good healthy food, and then focus your mind and heart on purity of the spirit. Get your body into prime physical fitness and it won't interfere so much in your quest for purity.
